@@NGInstitute Using KNF techniques I had the same results. Delicious fruit in 8 months. Not a lot but fruit. The trunks were 3.8cm and almost entirely lignified in 8 months. It was my first time growing figs. I had them in 2 gal pots. Should have put them in larger pots to begin with. They were 1.2 meters before I planted them. They kept growing and I pinched at 1.8 meters. The trunks this year are 5cm. Some fig people don’t believe me, this year taking pictures and documenting everything. I’ve been using KNF for three years now in my vegetable garden with great results. And it doesn’t cost me anything but a little time. Feed the soil not the plants…….

Those little TWO year old fig trees look perfectly staged, sitting nicely on a clean concrete border. My yrs of Fig growing experience , is that you start cuttings one year, then the NEXT YEAR you can have Fruit. With a thick Air Layer you can have fruit the same growing season it is started, but that is different then a rooted cutting.

Hello John, yes soluble. For small-scale domestic use, rule of thumb is dilute with water 1:100 and light-medium application up to weekly or fortnightly early on, then can back-off to monthly, bi-monthly or so though consider when the plant is going thru a stage of growth and wanting energy. Medium horticulture users put through dripper system in which a little often is best. Larger, broad-acre users spray with boom approx 1:40 dilution for efficiency. Hope that helps.

I guess that it's the not only the product you're using to get the figs to grow like that, but also your growing season may be different than others out there. I keep an open mind to things and investigate before making such accusations. Here in the states I'm near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When should I start rooting my figs for more? Thanks
