This wood is fine for dining chairs. Termite normally not effects it but it can if there is already termite issue in your room's furniture.

Yes agar cheaper mil raha hai to ye ek achha option ho skta hai but agar ye 4ft se badi length m use hota h to bend hone ka chance rehta hai.

Yes Devdar wood m medium size Almira banai ja sakti hai. Iske liye apko size jitna kam ho utna size rakhna theek hai or sufficient support all side mai dena jaruri hair jisse is wood ko bend hone se bachaya ja sake. Isko indoor mai hi use krna theek hai ye outdoor ke liye recommend nahi hai.

Agar ap sofa fully upholstered banwana chahte hain to ap long durability ke liye steam beech use kar sakte hain.. agar sofa fully upholstered nahi hai to ap teak wood ya white ash wood use karen.

For making picture frame mango wood is easily available for me but i have seen that mango sticks bends. I am planning to use palm wood. Can you please tell me the cost difference.

Mango wood is good option if length is not more than 14 to 20 inches (depends on width). You can also go with Pine wood it will also works in your case.

Now a days they don’t tell which wood is exactly used in furniture. They write ‘solid wood’ and let the customer chose what they want ‘teak finish’, walnut finish, mahogany finish…. It’s really confusing…it seams they use some wood and polish and stain it to give the required finish.

Pine wood m pura bed banaya ja sakta hai. Fully Upholster bed is perfect with Pine wood. There is no issue.

For sofa If wood is not visible then you can use Pine wood, Steam beech wood or Marndi wood and for visible areas you can use any teak wood or white ash wood for better look and strength

Best would be segun or segwan but it is difficult to get the good grain quality. If you find jharkhand segun then it is good else you can just go for Sheesham or shishu or Indian rosewood, though it will be a little bit heavy and darker shade.

Pine wood is the common wood which is soft and less resistant to termmites besides the low durable and hence it is the cheapest from all the wood. And still you put it in the top list. You should instead put teak, and others which is costly and occupied the big market. To be followed by sal, and others.

There are different types of acacia like acacia nilotica and acacia dealbata, acacia longifera etc. All are different. Babul is acacia nilotica. Look google for images of these.

Deodar wood found in kashmir valley ,very costly and is used to make houseboats ,shikaras etc because it does not get spoilt by water for many decades ,but it is not provided to common people.

Gooseberry wood is best. It would not destroyed by water even if it is kept under water for 100 years. wild jack (Artocarpus hirsutus) and Pterocarpus marsupium are also good for canoe making.
