After a long stressing Mother’s Day I’m ready to sit down smoke a bowl and watch some Gunkles. You know this show could be keenly branded as a place where people can come to learn about music they aren’t familiar with

This was a great flashback to my elementary school days. It’s funny some of the songs I loved then you guys brought up and now I cringe. Haha. Great video! Love your shirt Craig!

Craig with the worst imitation of Lou Reed ever. I love his shouting out of L7, "Bricks Are Heavy" was their best album. I liked most of Robert's picks as well, although I thought Piece of Cake was a big letdown from Mudhoney. I love "It's A Shame About Ray" and congratulations to Mike for winning the "will Evan Dando be semi-coherent for his show" lottery. I will predictably shout out Juliana Hatfield's solo debut "Hey Babe". Now I'm scared to listen to my Arrested Development CD that I haven't played in years.

I’m probably Robert’s worst nightmare for music in 1992. Erasure ABBA-ESQUE, Tori Amos Crucify, Annie Lennox Diva and Love Song For a Vampire, REM Automatic For The People, Ministry Psalm 69, NIN Broken, Sade Love Deluxe, Sugar Copper Blue, Morrissey Your Arsenal, Barenaked Ladies Gordon. I also love Shakespeare’s Sister Hormonally Yours, Information Society Peace And Love Inc., Utah Saints debut, The Cure Wish, The Sugarcubes Stick Around For Joy, INXS Welcome to Wherever You Are, Sinéad O’Connor Am I Not Your Girl, Madonna Erotica, the Cool World soundtrack. Things I liked at the time but have since grown weary of, Gin Blossoms, House of Pain, Arrested Development, the Singles soundtrack, Soul Asylum, STP.

As unpopular as it was, I really love Deee Lite's second album. I still listen to it.

Robert, the record company was wrong, according to Ms. Adu. It is definitely not Sharday. They only did that so that fans wouldn't call her 'Sadie'.

Very enjoyable discussion :) 1992's far and away top 2: Faith No More - Angel Dust and Alice in Chains - Dirt, with Angel Dust being a top 5 all time record for me. Curious if you all don't rate it or just forgot about it. (subscribed after the Cowboy Junkies video, now going through some other videos of yours, good stuff 🙂)

I was not so much into the grunge scene but '92 had some great music like most of what you all talked about.... Sade, Morphine, PJ Harvey, Annie Lennox, R.E.M., etc. 🎶🎵🎶 Richard never said what the huge band was that debuted in '92 was. 🤷♂ Robert showing the James CD. 😦

He was referring to Nirvana. I think he realized that was the year prior.

Just a few that i think should have at least been mentioned. Some stuff I enjoyed back in 92 in no particular order. By the way Daisy Chainsaw re-released the love your money single I believe a month ago only in the UK. You buy it through rough trades UK website. Luscious Jackson - In search of Manny Beastie Boys - Check your Head Spiritualized - Lazer guided Melodies The Cure - Wish Material Issue - Destination Universe Peter Murphy - Holy Smoke The Church - Priest = Aura And you guys forgot one of the worst songs of 92 which was I'm to sexy by Right said Fred.

The Mary Chapin Carpenter bit is worth the price of admission all by itself. "So bad it won Grammys". I think I laughed for a solid 5 minutes.
