Oof, so I see someone else went in on the avenger's platinum but just couldn't stop when realizing how long 50 hive missions would take. Because we had already put in too much to stop!!! Good hustle for putting up with it, I respect the grind.

My favorite platinum that I got this year was probably ghosts of tushima it was the first game I played after upgrading to a ps5 and the graphics and storytelling were just amazing. My least favorite platinum this year was probably Lego marvel superheroes 2 it wasn't hard and the first time through was pretty fun but my saved game got corrupted and added an extra 30 hours onto my play time for the single 100% trophy.

My favorite platinum last year was Cocoon. I just loved the game and the trophies were simple and achievable as long as I was paying attention to the game world.

I used to love trophy hunting and going for platinums. But since my friend who I used to do it with passed away in 2023 I kind of now feel like what’s the point in going for them. I have other gaming friends but none of them are trophy hunters and mostly play casual games. Part of the fun was talking about them with him and showing each other what Platinums we had got. He’s still on my friends list and I send him screenshots of trophies I have earned since he passed even though I know he won’t ever see them.

I did GotG, Arkham Knight and Mafia too in 2023. But the race in hard mode and finding all those foxes would never make me place it above the other two. Did enjoy the game though. My favorite plat was Rage 2 for sure.

My favorite plats I got this year are: Dead island 2, Assassin's creed Rogue, Tekken 7, Call of duty 4, and Mafia 1.... I got a lot more as well but off the top of my head these were my favorite games i got platinum for this year :)

I revisited Arkham knight to 100% all the dlcs and after that I was inspired to dig out my ps3 and 100% all the dlcs for Arkham city. Definatly so proud for doing those. In recent months I have loved ghost of tushima clocking up nearly 150 hrs on it and the DLCs. I played some mafia but that’s a game I just want to experience the story and not be pissed off with difficulty. I want to do guardians as I started it a while back, but again, just a simple story playthrough as I can’t be bothered with the collectables. I picked up man hunter dlc cheap in the sale and gave the game a go after hearing good things, it was a blast for a weekend and fully enjoyed the plat for it.

The rollercoaster of emotions on your face. From going through a nervous breakdown in anticipation if the last trophy will pop, to the euphoria when the platinum pops. I got some really good platinums this year with my favourites being Arkham asylum, the uncharted trilogy and mafia definitive edition

My favorite Platinum Trophies this year were definitely Lies of P, Dark Souls Remastered and Dishonored 2. Lies of P came out of nowhere as one of the best Souls Like games ever released. Good story, difficult but rewarding gameplay, excellent soundtrack, very good boss/enemy design and overall a near perfect game. Dark Souls Remastered is almost the same, but with the typical From Software magic. The trophy list is very similar in both games and works absolutely flawlessly. Dishonored 2 is the perfect successor to an already perfect first part. The story is good, the gameplay is fantastic and the ways in which you can complete a mission are simply perfect. The trophy list requires multiple playthroughs, but each one is completely different and unique in its own way. As a result, it never gets boring. I highly recommend all three if you haven't played them yet. Some honorable mentions would be Dead Space, Sekiro, Neon Abyss and The Medium. The worst platinum trophies for me this year were LEGO Star Wars III, Far Cry Primal and The Quarry. All three are incredibly boring, both in terms of story and gameplay. Far Cry crashes constantly, The Quarry takes 4714575 boring playthroughs and Star Wars was generally an absolute disappointment as a fan of Lego games.

Cyberpunk has to be my favourite platinum this year. Not only did the 2.0 update completely fixed everything and reworked a lot of quality of life features, but phantom liberty was an incredible dlc.

Worst completion : hesitated a long time between Kentucky Route Zero (boring, pretentious pseudo-philosophical game) and Battlefield V but I went for BF5. The story was a pain with the unreliable and unpredictable AI, the online could have been good if it wasn't for some achievements that truly test your luck and patience like "Death From Above" and "Hoist the Flag". These are 2 games that I was actually glad to be done with and I relished the moment I pressed "Uninstall" on them. Best completion : Like a Dragon Gaiden. A spin-off that feels like a full length main game, everything was amazing about it (music, combat, characters, side activities), nothing felt too forced or like it would have you grind forever. As always with Yakuza games, it struck the perfect balance between funny and emotional (I legit teared up during the ending). Truly one of my best gaming experience this year.

I got a lot of plats this year but my favourites have to be Baldur's Gate 3, Disco Elyisium, Returnal, Cyberpunk 2077 and Borderlands 3 for sure. Also respect for putting the Mafia plat 1st, I had a lot of fun getting It too except for the race in hardest diff and the collectibles

I'm glad Dead Island 2 got some love. While it wasn't anything like the original, the game was still very fun and unique

For an April fools video you should do all the jumping games and have them labeled as the “hardest platinums EVER”

I platinum mafia de my self in January this year and this was perfect, I think, I like it more than mafia 2

Mafia definitive edition was perfect. Probably only a one time playthrough but its a masterpiece. The only problem/hell i had with it was the race you have to do near the start of the game. Oh man I believe i did it about 13 times before finishen 1st. Anyway, it was a perfect game, because that race is what makes it a part of the awesome playthrough. Do mafia 2 as well if you havent😂

My favourite platinum I got this year was Spider-Man 2, but a very close second was A Hat in Time. My worst platinum was Goat Simulator, it was ruined because of the 2 HOURS I spent on the Flapmaster trophy.

To everyone. It’s a bit of an older game, but try to platinum Nex Machina. One of the best twin-sticks shooters ever with an awesome soundtrack! Besides a few annoying trophies is a very good game to platinum and the challenge is there!

Mafia was a great one until that race I was going crazy

in my opinion you should definitely go for the crash bandicoot series platinums. crash 4 is one of my proudest plats, just behind red dead 2

My fav platinum for 2023 was guardians of the galaxy followed closely by Jedi survivor. Absolutely love those games. My least fav was plague tale requiem. Good game but the very stupid 3 skills you had to upgrade makes you have to do ng++ to be able to upgrade them all the way bc there’s very few human enemies. Also not a big fan of ng+ anyways so having to do it twice was not fun lol

Favourite plats I earned this year: GTA V, Need for Speed Unbound, Killing Floor 2. Least favourite: Stranded deep, Lake.

Oh no, my Mafia 3 experience was rough. I did it over Covid in 2020 along with Mad Max, but two and a half playthroughs was too much Mafia for me. I'd give the game itself like a 5-6/10 to boot, so really not fun. At least they didn't require all collectibles

TrackMania Turbo would have to be my favourite this year purely because I challenged myself to get a super hard plat and it's my first plat that is under 1% on PSN Profiles. Great game. My worst would have to be Destroy All Humans 2. Didn't play it as a kid so didn't have nostalgia for it and just found it boring and a bit of a slog

I got into trophy hunting in late august and since then I got 9 platinum, my favourite by far has to be God of War 2018, i loved every second of it, even the collectible grind. My least favourite is probably undertale, not because its a bad game but because the platinum feels so easy, like shovelware

My favourite platinum of the years was Resident Evil Village, mainly because I adore the game so much and it was alot of fun playing it to get the platinum and the vr mode is incredible aswell, a close second is probably Astro's Playroom because it was such a fun little game that's got some charm and I guess nostalgia

My worst platinum of 2023 is Scrat’s Nutty Adventure. It wasn’t hard, but it was bare bone. The game was cheaply made and it tested my patience. It definitely needed some more time in the oven. My favorite platinum is Spider-Man 2. I had a lot of fun playing the game and earning the platinum.

My favourite platinum this year has to be final fantasy 16 such an amazing game

My best game I did this year was RDR2. But my most enjoyable was sly 1 and ratchet and clank rift apart. For my next games I’m doing tlou remastered ps4 and Hitman 3 but those are super close to being done so after that i want to take on FFXV.

Highly underrated plats: mk1 and 11. Still working on 1 bcuz there’s one insufferable trophy

A great watch, Studdy. Mafia 3 is something I really want to go back to but I don’t know if I have it in me with the bugs. Got to agree with you on Mafia 1. So many memories played it on PC in 2002, always been my fav. I plan on doing my last 3 AC games next year, Red Dead 2 needs cleaning up (I really want the plat), and loads more. Also if you’ve not played it, and you very often mention gaming with your uncle, It Takes Two is fantastic. I achieved 23 Platinums this year. My favourite being Hogwarts Legacy, Spiderman 2, It Takes Two. The worst being Saints Row, Far Cry 5 and Black Flag just because of the multiplayer, but I did enjoy the single player.

Mafia 3 was fun but like you said, it can be terrible with the latest patch. I would encourage anyone who wants to plat the game to downgrade the game to version 1.09. Its very easy to do and it makes the platinum run waaaaay easier and less stressful.
