Eric, you changed my life brotha. I'm 32 now and was 19 when my cousin first sent me your guru/water video... since that day I've watched that video at least 400 times, left it on repeat during all my toughest times. I have that script memorized. I sit here, day 8 of the new year, heavy hearted because as I let doubt and illness take more control of me that I shouldn't have. The illness causes immense pain, docs told me I could lose my vision by this year but I'm not crying because of that pain, I cried today because of the immense hope this speech GAVE me. I'm in disbelief what I have been able to accomplish. I owe you.

I have a guesthouse resort in Jamaica and I'm doing everything I can to save my place. How do you stay focused when it feels like you're on the brink of destruction? It seems like a silly question because I have helped others go through and get through some things, so why is it so hard for me to do it for myself? Breathing life into others who are not breathing life back into you? Where do I find a mentor who is strong enough to tell me what I need to know and not what he/she thinks I want to hear? How?
