Good to see you out there that morning Lance. I was in there again today and not quite as dry but still all good. Natives and bottom of baconator still wetish in parts. NFB dry but getting overgrown!

Lots of new trails popping up in RH this year, go check out the Hawkin, and the freshly extended “left my scooter outside the diary”. Geez and Geezettes are also running mint.

Maybe you and dad’s army should do a video on trail maintenance, lead by example and show the “kids” how it’s done. 😆

@craigviolich692 I have wanted to do that. Tried it once, but only one member of Dad's Army showed up. I do help out with some dig days and have filmed a couple, but it is never going to be a Dad's Army thing.

WOW they are dry, until the bog. don't think of it as cassette abuse, think of it more as teaching it whos the boss. Another awesome video

My one and only riverhead ride was in the rain, after it had been raining for a week, definitley not during summer this looks much betetr

It is a great place to ride with masses of tracks. Better in the dry that is for sure.

The carpark shown at the start of the video is the Robinson road parking off of sunny side road

He says it in the video - Robinson road, horsey folks really like that entrance so if you ever park there leave heaps of room for floats to turn around 👍🏻

I think you are talking about the natives. Not closed, still able to ride, but I have been asked previously not to show them in videos. It is due to a certain type of tree being there.

@@bestdayevermtb2 I think so, one of them over there. I found a sign in there saying something about a kauri grove.
