11 ай бұрынEarly in his career, Toulouse Lautrec was heavily influenced by impressionism and had close connections with Edgar Degas and Vincent Van Gogh. A frequent patron of cabarets such as the Moulin Rouge and the brothels of Montmartre, he gained recognition for his portraits of dancers and prostitutes. Additionally, he had a deep fascination with the circus and was drawn to the fluid movements of performers, both human and animal.

I have several Lautrec prints and posters. While I already know much of his story, this helped give me some new insights into his work. I don't think they emphasize enough how Japanese composition influenced his work. But, overall, an excellent overview of his life.

THE LAUNCHWOMAN IS LAUTREC'S PAINTING IN WHICH HE EXPOSES HIS CONCEPT OF BEAUTY: IMPERFECT, EVERYDAY, AND REAL. ALSO, HE IS TOULOUSE, THE ONLY PAINTER WHO MIXED ETHICS WITH AESTHETIC IN HIS CREATIONS.

The damned bot makes awful translations. Frequently it's just wrong. What comes out of the speakers is garbage. Nobody checks.
