I think we all know he can be great when he wants to. It's just that through the entire late 90s and most of the 00s, he sounded like he didn't want to play drums at all. Picked up a bit on the last two records though!

i wonder if people (metal heads that is) know how extraordinary this tape is. Obviously many do, but..... I am speechless. This is fucking outstanding. The exceptional thing about this tape apart that these are 17-19 years old boys writing and performing this music, is that my dearest Gylve is playing live, but also Ivar Enger aka Zephyrous, who people havent seen, more or less, for over 20 years. I am an 48 year old woman who has been into this stuff for a looooong time so I should know what Iam saying. There is no denying that Gylve Fenriz is a genius, and thats the reason why he is my alltime favorite with Pelle Ohlin as well (R.I.P). I am a black metal person but this is just sooo good. I actually get stomach pain when i see Gylve there.
