If you think the staring is OD you would be floored at how much more it is in cities like Kigali 😂 Don’t take it to heart it’s just a custom African thing especially for ppl in the cities who are more vigilant.

I can attest to that as I’m in Kigali now. It is really bad here. I’ve been here over a year and I still can’t get used to it. I know staring is common in a lot of countries but it can be a bit much in Kigali.

Staring? you are in Africa. It is normal. When people stare at you, do take it as negative way. Some people they don't even think they stare at you. They think they are walking and see someone. It is like this. 😁😂😁😂😁 I was outside of Ethiopia one time and when I walked I stared at someone but I didn't realized that I stared. The person I stared used f bomb and I woke up an I realized I stared. At that time I felt like that person did something wrong and that was why it got that much upset because that person thought I caught him. So, relax. 💚💛♥️

Hi I love your video in ethiopia, we are heading there this weekend and I have question for you about phone usages since t mobile it isn't serve there; did you change sim card and access KZfaq and other functions? Did need to buy mints or ethiopia telecommunications I need this information appreciate your response.

Thanks for watching! Aitanna and I actually did not get a sim card and had our phones on airplane mode the whole time. Betty got an E-sim and helped us with all our data needs during the trip

Ironically, Ethiopian food is probably one of the most vegan friendly cuisines in Africa. A lot of East African cuisines in general tend to be more plant based compared to other regions. Most Ethiopians who are Tewahedo Orthodox fast multiple times a year and aren’t allowed to consume any animal products while doing so, so the cuisine is heavily tailored around that. Example Dishes would be Shiro, Alicha, Gomen (Sukuma), Keysir (Red Beets), Misir, Ingudai (Mushrooms), Bamiya (Okra), Kik, and Azifa Just to name a few.
