What is it for you that brings tears? My Dad died four months before the pandemic closed down Disney. I got passes for me and my son to hang onto happiness and then it closed. I needed it so bad. I lost my brother 16 years ago. He has a stone in the esplanade. Disneyland is my son’s kindergarten year of IEPs and an autism diagnosis. It’s where I would go to forget about my pain. All I feel right now is sadness. I feel like the lady on Titanic in the bottom class who turns to her kids and says their turn will be coming up soon just as soon as the first class is taken care of. I want to be there opening day and I know I won’t be. My heart is sad

Here's a thought- Since the two of you already have tickets for the first day, why don't you offer the rest of those free tickets that you were gifted to your fans who can't afford tickets and would love to go? You could have them each write a story as to why they deserve the tickets and you would be giving back to the community who supports you so much! ( and no, I personally don't want or need one of your tickets). Then a lot of people could know the joy that you just expressed!

I know you are happy and grateful to be able to go back to the park on 4/30. You have been given a very special gift of tickets from some very generous individuals. I am very excited for you two and everyone else who will be going back. If you do have offers from cast members to attend cast member preview, I would like to humbly ask you to really pray about it and if you feel the desire to pay it forward and truly bless another, that you will encourage that cast member to invite a laid off cast member instead. I know you two always speak so highly of the cast members and their value and this would be such a priceless gift to a cast member who has prayed relentlessly to still get that callback. While that is such a kind thought, it’s not our place on who a cast member brings.. I imagine it would be a pretty awkward situation for them hanging out with someone they don’t know. Not to mention if we do go with one of our cast member friends, it’s a special moment we will cherish with our friend(s). Also, we would like to cover the preview for ourselves and the channel. Furloughed CMs are all eligible to go to the cast member preview as well. I appreciate your thought though, so sweet ♥️

Glad I have zero interest going on the first day...but more power to ya! ALL parks are having reopening issues even with limited capacity have lines that are much longer then normal , not everything is up and running and food and drink services are slower then usual...they need time to get back into the swing of things and get stuff up to par! I will wait a few weeks ;) before I start making my reservations

Not sure if you live in CA, but if we've learned anything this past year, THE TIME IS NOW! If you want to do something, do it NOW because there is no guarantee that things won't slide backwards and us be back at Disneyland being closed again.

I’m a former cast member (7 years at the Disney Store) and several times my tickets got screwed up. Whatever you put in first the system takes it off when you scan your magicband. So be sure to tell the cast member when you go into the park which ticket you want used. We have lost a lot of tickets.

I feel your anxiety a little. I was responsible to get Rise of the Resistance Passes yesterday at Hollywood Studios for our group..which included my sister in law who had never been on it and wanted to go on it so bad. I almost made myself sick with the anxiety of it. Luckily I got them...and pretty low numbers too. I’m so happy and excited for you guys! As a Legacy Passholder-who lives in Utah-so I can’t go to Disneyland right now-I cant wait to see your experience!

I feel you on the demeaning "it's just a theme park. Grow up!" thing. I've had people say that to me (a 33 year old woman lol) and it hurts a bit, tbh! I could never fathom spending thousands and thousands of dollars on Angels season seats or Lakers ones or concert tickets, BUT I GET IT. Even though it's not my jam, that activity may be someone else's and doing those things makes them incredibly happy. Everyone has their thing!! I love Disney parks!! Let me live! It's my thing!!

Are there spots left for may ?? I’m trying to go may 28 and 29th for my graduation gift to myself. Lol but I have to purchase tickets first on April 15th. Cuz this will be my 3rd time going in my 24 years alive lol and it’ll be my boyfriends first time ever going to Disneyland and California adventures.
