Considering his nerves he did amazing. A different song would of turned all 4 chairs. He's good. You can tell where Shanea gets her vocals from. She's a natural born performer.

Dad has a good voice as well. I can see where she got it from. She just needed dads confidence. She has a great loving and supportive family. She may have got her talent from dad but i am sure she got so much love and support from both her parents and her sibling.

I think every man on the planet should watch this and learn what it's really like to accept the responsibility of fatherhood. Years from now, maybe even decades, Shanae and hopefully her brother, will realize how lucky they were to have Chris as their dad. Wow...

Not to disagree but that's the default mode of every father. We don't need to see it, we just do the same thing every day, mate. That being said, still, a great inspiration seeing it pays off on full display like this. Lovely piece.

Agree 100%… do the same Chris did , support your 3 daughters !! My father had three daughters but never supported us… he left us for another woman and her kids and did not support her kids either … so tell your daughters they are beautiful and that they can be what they dream to be ! ❤

I'm 73 and have been a singer with stage fright. I took some knockbacks over the years, but still love to sing. Dad is an inspiration to his daughter. And he has a great voice himself. Never stop singing!❤

It's a process I started out with stage freight and someone told me to eat my nerves (because you're supposed to be not full when you sing) and I took that advice and ran ❤

As a 54 year old father of three this brought tears to my eyes. The willingness to expose himself to give her the example of courage she needed was inspirational. Dad was wonderful and the apple really did fall next to the tree. Mom and dad truly have set an example and instilled values that are missing in so many family structures today.

I thought Chris Watson's audition was pretty darn good to begin with. He absolutely gave it his best and it didn't disappoint! On the other hand, his daughter is AMAZING. He pumped her up and she really shone.

Without context, the girl’s audition is really impressive. But with the full story of the Dad and Daughter thing, that’s a true supportive and gift of strengh that encompasses all. An amazing example for sure. We just cross finger for Shanae to continue her journey.
