8 жыл бұрынCrash Bandicoot was one of the first fully 3D platformers ever made, and being that, Naughty Dog had to come up with ideas that hadn''t even been thought of before. So, just like Super Mario 64, ideas were considered and were either used or scrapped. And now, you'll know exactly what these scrapped ideas were.

One thing you forgot to point out was the cartoon intro actually had enemies that didn't show up until the sequel. Tiny Tiger and Komodo Bros were there.

Feel Good Music are you really trusting game developers to do that XD. think about it, the things there fans love NEVER come back. Double dash, banjo-kazooi, spyro. (ext) no one seen these great ideas in years because the developers are lazy and I lost faith in them awhile ago. these lost levels will never come back or some fu#k heads are going to say that they will make a game like it, and you know what, WE NEVER SEE THEM :I. see what I'm saying.

+DarkzyArtz™ Naughty Dog never sold Crash because they never owned it. They were hired to make 3 games for Universal Interactive and thus created Crash. When they decided to break away from Universal to instead work with Sony directly, it meant they had to leave behind Crash as well.

I absolutely love that cut animated intro. Just the theme song and the intro remind me of two animated shows intros from that era, Histeria! and a little bit like Freakazoid. I wonder if some of the song writers for those shows (or even Animaniacs) wrote this song. It's a shame it wasn't released in the game.

+Vladski The PS1 definitely had the best loading screen. It was really the greatest experience to turn it on with Crash Bandicoot in the console. Definitely can't be recreated with PS2 or PS3, despite those being my only two methods of playing the game currently - I don't even know where my PS1 is at the moment.

Fun facts: actor Brendan O'Brien voices all of the speaking characters. Who is he? Look him up. Crash's camera angle was referred to as "Sonic's ass." They couldn't mention how Mark Mothersbaugh became involved? I thought Universal had franchise plans for Crash including a TV series and even a theme park attraction, hence the animated intro.

If that animated short was designed to be the intro for the first game, it actually shows one really cool thing: Tiny Tiger and the Komodo Brothers are visible in it in the background, and that means that, even if they're not in the first game, their designs were already complete before the second game was made.

I'd like to point out something. According to Dave Siller, one of the creators of Crash Bandicoot, Naughty Dog was in fact the ones pressing for Willie the Wombat to be the official name, not Universal.

He hosts a series called A Brief History which covers game series' in a fast, rushed, brief manner if you will. So I guess it's just a force of habit :)

Can someone stop this Ferret guy from shouting, I could hardly watch the video without feeling uncomfortable at how this guy was just yelling into the microphone, the difference in tone of the voices is really jarring to me. That said, still very interesting and Beta64's voice is smooth as butter like always. But for god sake tell FootofaFerret to calm the fuck down jeez.

Yuki__Asuna Well besides him (which I find unwatchable due to his literally yelling) there are people like H20Delirious, VanossGaming, videogamedunkey, speedy, sidearms... hell lots of them. I guess I am just used to most youtubers being louders then average people so this ferret guy didn't bug me at all.

I love when betas get leaked online. The fact that I can sit here in my bedroom, and play an old unfinished pre-beta build of the original Crash Bandicoot, is bananas to me. As is being able to play an old E3 demo prototype thing of the original Tomb Raider.

I came really close to stopping watching because Ferret's obnoxious attention-seeking yelling was almost giving me a headache. I had to mute one of his parts towards the end. The crystal cavern level looks really pretty.

Rio Kamichika but why would you bother to take note about his volume instead of the content he was displaying? I know it's not just you because many seem pained about it. I just can't grasp why him yelling through the entire video was miffable or obnoxious. Idk, to each narrator their own .

+James VD If you can't grasp it, it might be difficult to explain it in a way you'd understand. Some people (myself included) don't really like yelling voices (especially in contrast to such a soothing voice speaking when the yelling voice isn't). I think footofaferret is a nice guy, but his voice is a bit too fast and loud for my liking, and if narration is the purpose of the video, that doesn't bode well. Personally, I wish it didn't bother me because I like learning about supplemental information regarding video games. I suppose the only way I can think of putting it into perspective is if you can imagine something that annoys you but doesn't annoy others. I'm sorry if that didn't make much sense; if it doesn't annoy you, it's hard to explain specifically why something annoys others.
