Those piranha heads are still there, on bianco hills episode 1, the polluted piranha will roll chocolate-goop balls at you, if you spray them clean, they reveal the piranha heads underneath the goop.

What I think is interesting is the light house island can be seen in Delfino Plaza, I always wanted to try to glitch out of bounds and go over there, fun fact, it didn't work. Also note: in the begging, you were able to go to the lighthouse, through a train or Subway, but was cut for some reason, along with a few other islands and shine sprites.

From what I saw (idk if it real) in E3 2002, instead of the text "Juice" under the Yoshi's juice meter, it said "Hungry"

Maybe that “human girl” was an early model of Princess Peach. In the final game, she wore some sort of vacation dress and the one in the beta version is just an early model of her.

For those who don't know, corona means "crown" in Latin. Henceforth, the mountain is called "Crown Mountain". Coronavirus means "crown virus", and was named as such because of its crown shape. And also, masks save lives.

This is so cool I love this game and this brings me closer to it

I wish Sunshine had those human characters or just any sort of tourists from outside the island. It could've made the game feel even more brimming since Isle Delfino is seemingly a popular vacation spot. I'm glad they sorta went back to this idea in Odyssey with the tourists from other kingdoms appearing in the post-game. Letting parts of your world freely intersect does so much to make your world feel more alive.

Am I the only person who thought that the silhouette at the top at 8:55 says "Super Mario"?

I wish Nintendo would make a sequel or something set in within the Mario sunshine world for the WiiU.

I too love Mario Sunshine's unique and diverse areas, my favorite is the one with water in it.

The sun glasses he mentioned ARE used in the final game. Outside of pinna park a Pianta will offer you glasses if you talk to him and will take them off if you talk to him again. The Pianta acts as a toggle on/off. However the glasses will disappear when you leave pinna park.

so according to sm 3d allstars the beta spaceworld theme is called "Opening Demo" also corona mountain is a coincidence

Robert Colton What he said is that the Sunglasses were originally going to be a special mode where you play the game with reduced brightness as it's the main function, but made it into an item ( which becomes available to you after defeating Bowser). You get the Shine Sprite shirt once you collect all 120 Shine Sprites.

My interpretation of Mario sunshine is a very experimental game. They tried many many new things with this one that shook the formula. I have played the game many time and honestly not all of it works, but the atmosphere, moveset, and mechanics were pretty fun.

I grew up with Super Mario Sunshine and I love it!
