Betfair trading is all about getting a positive trading expectancy, as is traditional sports betting.
You need to balance out your profits and losses, look for patterns within the market that you can replicate on a regular basis. Slowly tweaking your ability within the market to tip the various factors in your favour.
Right from day one of my sports trading career, I've approached each market in exactly the same way.
I look at the market, get an understanding of what drives the odds, where they are likely to go and what the high and low points are. I then trade inside that range.
It doesn't mean that I'm instantly profitable, but it does mean that I can understand how I can become profitable. All I need to do, is tweak a few things and that's enough to be profitable.
So in this video I show you how you would do that on a variety of sports trading markets.

Excellent video! Especially in pre live horses you have well explained how to create and work with a profitable method: find a pattern, look for trades that use this pattern to be positive, and use good money management in these trades. Hugs from Brazil!

Glad it was helpful. It's odd, but these sorts of videos are not that popular. But, in my opinion, are so important to trading effectively. Most people are too focused on trying to get a winning trade, rather than a profitable one. So it's nice to hear when people understand what I'm trying to say.

@@betangeltv I have now got to the point of not looking for profit and how much, but the boundaries of where I need to be to achieve a profit with a risk reward .And learn to have exit points.Keep up the great work you do.

This is good info thanks Peter. I trade tennis but still struggle to get the most from tennis trader. Have you done a mini course or likely to that really goes in depth with tennis trader? Im happy to come to Southampton lol

The disciplines required for successful trading are very different from gambling. So lots of people have problems transitioning from one to another. So you wouldn't be unique. But it's easily the best way to profit from betting on sports.
