I am 60 years old now and I still cry when I look at her photos. Nothing and no one can replace the women who brought you into this world. Love her while you have her. Talk to her every day and never end the conversation without telling her you love her. Hold her tight and feel her warmth, her breath. Cherish her and never leave anything unsaid. Have no regrets…. But the love between a daughter and a mother is at the same time the greatest and most difficult love in the world - that's why it's so fragile... delicate. These tears are real, so but be kinder to your mothers while they're still around...Kiss and hug them every day, even when they're angry

This is so true. I listen to music, not with my ears but with my heart. And then she tells her story. I can see it in front of me. That is what a singer a good singer makes. I lost my little girl when she was a baby. I also lost my mom. I think many people can relate to her performance. She is a singer that who is locked in my heart. Thank you Beth.

I care for my 84 year old Mum who fought Covid in 2020 & Renal failure, pneumonia, 2 tiny strokes, a secondary infection & more for a month & a half to come back home August 21 2023. She's my world 🥺 it's always been just her & I. This song is such a beautiful tribute ❤ Thank you Beth xx

I care for My Mother just passed away on 4/22/24 she was my hero she passed peacefully in my arms. She would have been 82 in 15 days. I had a surprise Birthday party planned for her.

I'm a mom that is estranged from her adult children. It hurts me every second of every day. I miss my children and the grandchildren I have never met. I would give anything to hold them in my arms and let forgiveness happen for us all. I can't make it happen nor can I stop crying everyday. I am alone everyday all I have are caregivers to help for a couple of hours in the mornings. My children don't even know how bad my health has become or that I'm afraid to make friends for fear that I'm never good enough and they will leave me too. That last time I saw my children one of them pushed me and said her and her twin sister hated me. Please forgive the mistakes we parents make we are only human 😢

Sheri, hold on to all the good memories you have of you and your children together. Prayers go up for you and for them, that forgiveness can be acknowledged and received, and that you, your children and your grandchildren will be reunited! I know how heartbreaking this is as I am going through this too with one of my three children. So I pray that same prayer every day...for myself also 💔

Dear Heart I know. I have the same pain. We did the best we knew at the time. I had to find my life without them, learn to love myself again. It’s possible. You are not alone Darling. I still reach for the phone to call my mom every day just to catch up on things and to tell her that I love her. I wish she would answer the phone, but she answered a higher call 3 months ago and is home with the Lord now. I imagine her catching up with all of her family who went before. So now I just put the phone down and then whisper that I love her and I miss her. 😢❤

My mom has been gone since early 2000 and I still think, “I have to go tell mom….” And I start to get up to go tell her. I had the best mom in the world. Both my parents died too young from Cancer. I miss my mom who went down the dark hole of dementia, fuck you COVID 19 where I couldn't see u for 6 months in a shitty care home.. If u felt abandoned I couldn't help it because of "the rules". Thankfully I got to see her after and went every week until she passed from her life of no quality. U vibrant fun loving woman , u are still with me in my soul.

I lost my mom a little over 2 years ago, we drove in a snowstorm over 3 states to get to her. I got to say good-bye and the next morning she was gone. We had to go back in summer to bury her, got home and had to put my 12/ 1/2 year old dog down and last Tuesday my brother died and I do hope he's with everyone taken too soon or just taken in the last few years. I miss them all but my mom....

I lost my mother when I was 29. I miss her so much. I am 54 and have a son. I am so saddened that she never met him or that he ever met her. We had such a special bond. It feels like I lost her yesterday. Your song captures the deep loss and love that was our bond. Thank you for this song. It helps me weep for what I have lost, and seeing your pain reminds me I am not alone in my loss. We really need to honour the people who loved and truly cared for us. . Parenting is very challenging, and we can only judge when we are parents ourselves. She gave me the best that she was; I honour her always.

I don't think I have ever cried this hard hearing a song for the first time.. I had to stop talking to my mom too.. because it was no longer just me she was hurting.. she branched out to my babies and my husband and she put all of our lives in danger.. I couldn't allow it to happen again.. always thought we would get our time together as she got older and needed help.. 4 years we didn't talk.. then I got a call in the middle of the night telling me she was dead.. I hit my knees for the first time in my life.. She was brutally murdered.. while moving from Arizona to Nashville.. She was a country music promoter/talent scout.. but man oh man could she ever sing.. That is all I have left of her.. a few songs.. and a very heavy burden on my heart for not talking to her. I miss my momma to.. she was murdered in 1998.. I never sang again after she passed.. it was just to damn painful.. Thank you for putting this song out here. 😢

My mom passed in Aug. She was tired. She was 82. I miss her so much. She was my rock especially after I lost my daughter.

I was 22 going home from my sisters Wedding my 22nd birthday I was travelling in a car behind my Mumma and 11 yr old brother a semi trailer came around the bend on the wrong side of the road hitting them head on my Mumma was killed instantly… it was her mums birthday and my brothers birthday the following day … soul destroying imploding our family as we knew it … that was 29.9.1992 😢💔 31 years ago Roma Rose was a Nurse saved lives everyday she was 43 … the best woman and mother ever we miss her millions 🙌🙏❤️

My Mom passed away this March. We didn't know how sick she was. She was a narcissist. She could be so cruel at times but she could be very loving too. It's taking me awhile to get past "what a relief" to Momma I miss you so much. See it doesn't matter about a mental illness... And that's what it was.. I love and miss my Mom 😢! I've put her pictures out. I can see her pain as well as mine.. but we got through it. Love and miss you Momma! 😢😢

Beth moved her mother into her LA home with her during the Pandemic and it didn’t go well. How many artists do you know that can completely lose their shit, not get paralyzed by it, quickly get it together, sing like an angel…. and simply finish with a matter of fact “sorry about that.”

This moment shocked me during the concert, as I relate this song to a video where she played this with her mother sitting next to her at the piano. How did she manage to play this one the whole tour? I've got huge respect for her ability to carry on singing and playing after such an outbreak.

@@philomena_def-not-malcolm It's not that unusual for her to breakdown during a performance. Since she relives these songs each time she sings them, she occasionally gets overwhelmed but, because the music is the thing for her, she's also able to shut it off and continue. The music is how she copes day to day.

For all of u who lost their mom in this horrible sleep called Death I want u to know there are promises of them living again here on earth where there will be no sickness or death. ISAIAH 26:19 & REVELATIONS 21:1-5 The Bible contains the promises and they will come true for God can not lie. He is all powerful and desire that this happens that we all come to know him well so we can qualify to be here to greet our dear mothers back.
