I watched the entire movie but I am guilt, yes, of rewinding it to this scene. I thought that this artist was from the 1960s (like Duffy) but she isn't. I like this scene because it reminds me of the many, many scenes in my own past on dates in darkened romantic coves like this one. Life was really that way for me. I think about those days when I was young and felt like this character. I was such a romantic young woman, very much so. It was such a different time, people were different too.

I love you too! I love the sexiness, the sedate music of that era. I wish that this era (1960s& 1980s--another era for sensual love songs) would return...but the right talent has to pull it off and truly believe in the lyrics. Love songs truly change the atmosphere every where. If you grew up in the 1980s...you would have throughly enjoyed it. It was mostly love songs like this and it was the last era where most everyone was in love or enjoyed one another, it really was like that. I miss it!

Remember, movies like this came from authentic experiences. There isn't any thing a bit wrong in wanting this as a permanent part of our current existance. It isn't normal to listen to folks shout & hate over our cables, it isn't normal the way things are manipulated or racist today. It may be "reality" but it doesn't make it normal. Love makes us feel good& do good, Love makes us think w a heart of generosity. There WAS a such time & it was real.I lived it. We just need to bring it back

OMG me too, we all have this thing in common of romance and wishing it could return to a time where we were not all in this rush and emptiness. I think that society will learn a lesson about living life in this selfish & cheapened way and more or less agree that love songs and fresh appreciation for one another would keep us all a bit healthier and w/ a bit more joy to boot.

I am in full agreement with your statement. It is sad when a segment of souls in our society are reduced to this level of inane boredom and trolling. I think trolling existed for hundreds of years and these people were called "hecklers' and the internet had to find a name for such people to technically explain who these people are.
