This information should be provided at the time they are being recorded or as soon as possible afterwards. I think the Sargeant was so far behind with his knowledge of the current legislation that he thought Queen Victoria was still on the throne. Honestly, 5 officers to ask one person what they're doing. What a waste of resources. Once you'd explained, they should have been straight back into the nick and just kept an eye on things with the CCTV. But no, they have to make a point, have to try to be overbearing and assert some sort of authority by making up laws and being belligerent. Well done mate, putting them in their place.

“I won’t be intimidated out of exercising my rights … ever”. That is what lead to the sergeant finally ending the encounter. I think that says it all. Intimidation is all they have in most cases. And their other favourite is provocation hoping you’ll do or say something they can arrest you for.

Absolutely brilliant. It’s like sketch comedy but the stakes are really high and the actors don’t know they are the stars of the drama. The longer they go on the more clownish they appear. And the more they confirm their ignorance of the law and lack of critical thinking skills.

I absolutely loved this audit when you first published it, amazed at how incompetent they looked and how you handled them😂.

Every police officer in the country should be made to watch this and sign that they have seen and understood the contents on how not to talk to the public, the Sgt in desperation used the Queens passing to get sympathy and got shot down, he is clueless and an embarrassment
