@@Raulnavarro822 estudia, haz la cama, recoge la mesa, y solo después te matriculas estudias dos horas diarias en casita. Sacas la primaria, posteriormente el bachillerato y mas tarde los estudios universitarios, si lo consigues vienes y verás como no sueltas mas idioteces y no nos haces aqui perder el tiempo a todos teniendo que responder a tus vainas.. Las voces suenan diferentes según el idioma. Si escuchas una canción en inglés te sonará muy diferente a la misma canción en chino o en italiano. No importa que no entiendas el idioma. Me pregunto como le sonará el español a alguien que no lo entiende.

According to Andrew Lloyd Webber himself, Camilo Sesto's spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar was one of the best worldwide apart from the original version. Loved your reaction.

@@wizanoctivagos What are you talking about? Ian Gillian was on the original version of the play. Ted Nelly (my favorite Jesus Christ of all time) appeared for the first time in the movie version, if my memory doesn't fail me

The version with Ian Gillan was the original but it was a "rock opera" album only version because in that time they did not have the funds to stage it (and they were hoping that the album sales would make a stage version feasible - which of course was what happened). The original Jesus in the Broadway version was Jeff Fenholt.

Was incredible, during a dictatorship, he went to USA where he saw the play so he mounted, produced ( with his own money), starred , while the americans where atonished, this man is doing all of this by himself¡

here camilo is being judged based solely on his voice for obvious reasons, but he was an exquisite composer and his lyrics were poems, he composed and sang his own songs.

Lourdes Lozano de la Mota Claro que no es suya, pero solo dos personas más han sido capaces de interpretarla a este nivel, y esto lo digo al margen de su extensa faceta como compositor. A Axel Rose, de Guns and Roses le pasa lo mismo con la canción Coma, que solo ha podido intentar cantar cuatro veces en directo en su vida.

Personalmente un artista con una voz privilegiada y además de los mejores compositores de música melódica que ha dado España. Me sentó bastante mal enterarme de su muerte, pero ya llevaba jorobado bastante tiempo. De todos modos, hasta ahora era de los mayores genios musicales de nuestro país, pero ahora se ha convertido en leyenda.

It's so strange to hear Camilo Sesto roaring like that, most of his songs are soft and sweet; his voice never needed to roar to be strong and powerful. Just amazing and perfect. Camilo and Nino Bravo were the greatest singers in Spain, thank you for share his wonderful voice with your suscribers!

I've gotta say, that crying vibrato was wicked; when you demonstrated I had turned away for just a moment and became genuinely concerned about what had happened! But what an incredible performance, I've never seen JC Superstar-but it's just jumped right up to the top of my list. The ability this man had, it's unbelievable. What a joyful thing.

Camilo Sesto (actually his real name was Camilo Blanes), was one of the greatest male singer in Spanish... he was also a song writer as well as stunning singer! You never get tired of listening to his balads and many of his records!

I've heard many very experienced singers who say Camilo's vocal techniques are impossible to replicate. He was a real genius. Shame he lost his voice later in life.

Beth, to fully understand what Camilo Sesto has achieved with his singing, I invite you to learn Spanish. There have been many excellent singers in Spanish, but Camilo Sesto surpasses any singer in all existing Spanish-speaking genres. Camilo's vocal range and versatility was infinite. You should consider that he composed his songs and it was an impressive number of songs; One could say that he wrote everything that could have been written about love (if Michael Boublé dedicated himself to translating and interpreting his songs in English, he would have a hit and a full album every year of his life while he had a voice to sing). What we feel the native speakers of Spanish, is as if he made us feel the emotions of life; His voice in Spanish is sublime. And we should hardly mention his histrionics and physical beauty ... He was a practically unreal being. PD: Getsemany was his best performance, but not his best song.

Cuestión de gustos, pero José José es mejor cantando por mucho y aún hoy pocos sino es que uno o dos podrían decir que tienen su calidad vocal o al menos cuando la tuvo en su máximo esplendor. Camilo es excelente y me encanta, pero no al nivel de José José.

A European Spanish voice, even when he uses lower tones in his voice the Spanish melody is heard, is what you say every detail counts. When his voice vibrates it is also to beautify his singing, one example the word "dime" he say "diiimeee" in that case is ascending and more the elegance thanks for posting a video gracias.

Es raro que no la conozcas, desde 1975 la cantó en toda América, incluido EEUU donde llenó el Madison Square Garden. También en Japón...

Maravilloso!!! Maravilloso!! Dudo que haya muchos que puedan alcanzar esas notas, sobretodo con las variaciones de tonos que SOLO Camilo Sesto pudo lograr y a la vez, transmitir tanta emoción!! Hermosa y gran voz en un hermoso y gran hombre!!! Up until he did that sudden high note in the middle, I was thinking he isn't really doing that much to show off his voice. What an incredible performance nonetheless. Acting wise, and vocally he really took it home in the second half.

I admire him, every song he sang it was like a work of art, in adition he wrote and played many instruments , thanks to him we have this play in Spain at the end of the dictatorship which is incredible.

Camilo was blessed with a great voice. He was an excellent singer and wrote about 50 hits. Also he had stage presence and charisma loved by women. It does not get better than that. He simply had it all. Number one ever in my opinion. My favorite song: Que difícil es ser feliz.

Hay otra mejor que hace poco Tve liberó en buena calidad en directo 1977 en esta noche fiesta , Está es la segunda la más conocida . Sin duda el mejor artista del idioma español de todos los tiempos ..QEPD

Amigo, pues preste mas atención de ahora en adelante,, no sabe lo que se ha perdido y se seguirá perdiendo si no lo hace. Pero en horabuena amigo. Son tantas las canciones excelentes que tiene Camilo que se va a impresionar por mucho tiempo.

@@leonardsl1447 Dimash tiene un gran rango vocal eso no se duda, pero su técnica no es precisamente la mas saludable (dicho por los críticos), es uno de los vocalistas mas populares, pero definitivamente hay mejores

Hola Beth! Camilo Sesto, que en paz descanse, es uno de los cantantes favoritos de toda la vida de mi madre. Esta si es una verdadera sorpresa, y muy grata, no esperaba verte reaccionar a este artista en particular; de verdad tienes un repertorio de análisis totalmente ecléctico, y eso me parece espectacular y al mismo tiempo peculiar. Mis respetos, ojalá sigas explorando y conociendo más interpretes de todas partes, en especial del mundo hispano. Un abrazo!
