Under Stars was chosen as the end game credits score for the video game Mass Effect Andromeda. I don’t play video games but those who do commented that this song matched the emotional finale of finishing the game and was a perfect complement to the storyline.

Midas Touch is my most streamed song on spotify last year (it only came out last year not a long time ago) and still in the top 20 this year too. I never get tired of it. Midas Touch supremacy!!! Haha, I just love that you instantly loved Midas Touch because that was exactly my reaction. The moment I heard the starting beats I knew I would love it, that it would forever be on my playlist and that I'd never get tired of it. It's as you say, there's something about the melody, I just absolutely love it. One of my ultimate favorites from Aurora. Keen sense there noticing the similarities between In Boxes and In Bottles. It's not a coincidence at all as both songs are actually related. As other comments have mentioned, the songs are actually about a serial killer who cuts up her victims and stores them in boxes underneath her bed. Due to the release order many think that In Bottles is a sequel to In Boxes but in a mini livestream a while back Aurora said that she wrote In Bottles first so it's more likely that it's a prequel, or rather chronologically it's In Bottles first, then In Boxes. The lyrics and the general tone of the songs seem to support this too. In In Bottles, the lady in question is still struggling with her dark desire, so the tone of the song is dark and heavy, with lyrics such as 'cover your eyes, hide me inside under your spine' (don't see the real me, the boxes hidden underneath the bed is technically under the spine). The 'you' in the song seems to be her lover that is referenced in In Boxes, who she seems to be trying to maintain a normal relationship with but for unknown reasons, whether the lover discovers her secret, or she simply couldn't resists her desire any longer, the lover meets a tragic fate which we find out in these lines from In Boxes 'I did once have a lover only kept his hands'. However, the tone of In Boxes in general is more upbeat, jaunty, even fun. So it seems to imply that she has come to accept herself and is happily going around killing people. Kinda creepy overall, but I also love that Aurora's imagination is so limitless. Besides, I LOVE In Bottles. Probably my absolute favorite Aurora song. While I'm here, I'd also like to chime in that should you ever do another Aurora singles reaction, I would love to hear your take on To Be Loved, which is an Askjell song that Aurora lent her voice in. Also Potion for Love, The Devil is Human, and an older one called Silhouette. You should also look into Aurora's covers, because those are magical.

she also wrote a fantastic song for the 2020 secret garden movie, as well as covered into the unknown from frozen (which she sang in for the original film). her version of that song is absolutely ethereal. she also put out a song for a Norwegian tv show, called stjernestøv, which is really beautiful as well.

Someone suggest that you should go tru her videographie and I truely think you should. Aurora is a self learn on singing and music, but she as took 10 year of dance class and wanted to becam a dancer, as she touch evrything in her production, she plan her video too, the imagery, the color, the movement, evrything mean something, add it to the music and lyrics that you already love and Bam! She also design her close with her sister who is a pro. so now have a ''look'' at AURORA !

Girl your channel is literally my comfort channel, you don’t understand😭 If I am allowed to suggest anything, I definitely recommend listening to Grace Vanderwaal! Her EP “Letters Volume 1” is honestly one of my top EPs I have heard x and she was only 16 at the time of it’s release I think. She also released a new single a few days ago called Lion’s Den.. I bet you haven't listened to her song Why Did You Have To Go.She wrote it for a dear friend who passed away and sang it at her funeral.There is no official video for it but there is a fan made one that is really nice.

My favorite version of Awakening is a live one from TV (her first ever performance in TV - for me it is so much better then on a single (love this song and performance)). Also lyrics even if pretty straightforward but also like poetry. Under the stars has live performance in Nidarosdomen concert :). In the Boxes is about serial killer who collecting 'sovereigns' in the boxes :). The Little boy in the Grass is about Utoya massacre where she lost someone she knew (maybe even someone close). There are 2 great live in Nidarosdomen (full instrumental) and in Mahogony Session (acoustic, raw, emotional on boat - I even prefer this one - pure emotions you can see - there is even a moment when she take a air in a way she would cry). Walking in the Air is a cover and also great version in Nidarosdomen concert. Paramour is not bad, but not my fav collaboration :). Midas Touch is great song for a TV series :). I though it will be on Gods we can touch as Midas fits to mythology, but it was not :). Alone in the Night is very sad song in old style. it is about Alzheimer (and love too :) ). Thank U is also a cover. But no matter if her originals or covers they are great:) Storm has very cool video and generally great collaboration. Ps. And still many to go :). I would recommend Animal Soul (live in P3 - unreleased song), We Are Going to do That (live at Eurosonic feast) another unreleased one I love.
