The fact when he started singing they actually knew the words it wasn't just like he was up there it wasn't like he's Miley Cyrus dad it was really beautiful to see that he is embraced versus if we go to a country music award ceremony this would not be reciprocated and it's sad but I love the energy that was given to Billy. I think it could stand the test of time more. Alternative rock/rap and rap is much easier to mesh successfully than country and rap/trap. Although the jay/lp I like more.

I love all music hip-hop, R&B, country, soft-rock, pop-music, alternative, etc. BET has always embraced diversity in music, no matter what race. I watched this song on BET, CMT, MTV, Grand OL' OpRy, late night shows, etc. I've heard Billy Ray, w/o Nas, and Nas, w/o Billy Ray. This song only sounds great by bringing the two together! The way BET had the saloon video set, the crowd energy, the sound of the BET studio, everything this live show made it the BEST!

Im not even interested in country music, but my entire soul was shook by surprise during the first notes, going along with the whole song on a ride! This song was just such a pleasant experience, even a live performance didn't shake away at my first impression of the song. (Which Usually Always Happens mind you, never liked much live) Can tell this was quite the hit on me, Lil Nas and Billy Ray Cyrus made for such an amazingly perfect combo! Could feel myself dancing along to the beat.
