Also she has Lupus as well (which the body attacks itself basically, and does have effects on the voice sadly). If you listen to her live from a few years ago, the rasp and cracks were still there, Im so proud of her for keeping on strong and singing regardless despite the challenges the disease may bring. Rooting for her future success big!!

I absolutely loved that she was over there just singing, lot of times people push singers to dance, sing, juggle, do some magic and a lot of crazy things. She was over there pretty, singing flawlessly and delivered a perfect performance.

I looked for this because I didn't watch the BET Awards and someone said she sounded horrible. Where? She sounded amazing and her performance and set up, even dress were all elegant, beautiful and excellent. She sang great to me and I even liked the stage version of her song. yeah, it's not nerves, she gets extremely winded due to the illness she suffers form. We are all blessed she had the energy to be there, that's why she was mostly standing in one spot. Not coming for ya, just want to explain. She's such a gift!

I feel she was inspired by Mariah Carey's 2018 AMAs performance (but also the original Lola Falana) and I'm even MORE of a fan now! We need more singers who can (and have the ability to) serenade us with their voices!

Always a fresh rendition! Wow, we really got to hear the lower range in addition to the upper register. Muni Long is truly the whole package - and the art direction/choreography were simply timeless and stunning.

I truly enjoyed this performance! If I'm honest, I wasn't really feeling her when Hrs & Hrs dropped because it went so viral and became annoying after a while. But i've come to hear some of her other music and have watched a few interviews. I like her! She's a great singer & songwriter and she's giving true R&B beauty and grace. We need more of this in a world of summer walkers and city girls.
