1st 5+ minutes people kept repeating how "ugly" F/L was. She's beautiful. Then i saw the scar. Sad how we live in a sperficial world. Interestingly enough, models these days are considered unique beauties if they have imperfections that is their own. However, they are still the minority. Bullying is such a toxic thing. Tragedy is that its not isolated to young kids in school. Many adults like Theresa experience it too. So far. Im liking the characters.

FL is not ugly(is that china's definition of ugly?) it us just unsightly but it can be remedied by putting on make-up. Ugly means that you could not enhanced the face by any other cosmetics but needs to be operated. ML's assistant is sooo funny 😂. He is a good comedian he is naughty😂

Because in China, any blemish on a pale skin, no matter what size, is considered ugly. If you have dark skin, you are considered either poor, uneducated and from the mountains. This is normal for them.

They either cheap out with the effort put into "ugly" or they don't want to decide what ugly is. Cause these dramas always use a scar that's not that drastic and would easily be covered by makeup or they use glasses and fake freckles. But if you look at the lack of effort put into some other things it's not surprising.
