The part about Julie Harris tears my heart out. Every time. I just love how Bette Midler can make us laugh one second and the next make us cry; there's nothing fake, it's all true, all the way.

I sure wish I could have seen this play. It's looks fabulous.

Man am I sad I missed this when it was playing. Bette is so good she's unrecognizable . Bettes timing and emersion into this character is strong, real, comfortable. I can see why Bette wanted to play her. Sue was an icon, a lone woman in a man's world, literally. And what a mouth and sense of humor. In 5 minutes I knew I wanted to be at her dinner party

I always wonder about this and why she asked me so many personal Questions ? ? Was Bette Trying to tell me something ? That She liked me ? ? And I did not pick up on what she said " Did She Marry Her Husband in The Likeness of me ? And The Beatles Song I mentioned to her , And She smiled And Said Maybe Someday I will .... And to my Surprise she did . I miss you very much Bette , And who Knows What might Have Been ? If I said and did things different .... Maybe You Can Do Something Nice For Someone On day you said to me ... Who can ever forget Something like That ? From The Guy That really Was With Bette Midler .,, .
