Bryant Cook plays Amulet Storm in a Modern League on Magic: The Gathering Online! These matches were played on: 04/07/24
The central plan of this Amulet of Vigor-based strategy is to get two copies of the namesake in play. We do this using Urza's Saga as well as The Mycosynth Gardens to create a pair of one mana artifacts. From there, we have "Karoo lands" in Simic Growth Chamber, Izzet Boilerworks, and Gruul Turf. These lands will untap generating additional mana before returning themselves.
The idea now is to play cards that generate additional land drops such as Explore, Growth Spiral, Joint Exploration, Escape to the Wilds, and in today's video - Song of Creation (A perfect addition). We believe this build is much better!

this deck is so sweet! i love when well designed cards are functioning exactly how they’re intended like song of creation is doing song of creation things i prefer seeing the whole combo turns like in round 4 part of the fun is watching the deck spin it’s wheels and combo off although yeah i don’t mind if you don’t narrate the whole thing i just like watching the combo 🪤

32:46 i know this is hindsight, but i had the thought when it happened that based on your hand you wanted to keep the song of creation on top off of preordain. You had saga and micosynth for double amulet and you had the bounce land already, so it was always a turn 4 combo game off the mulligan to 4. Loving these brews you guys are putting together.

Great video, song seems like such a good include. In the video you talked about a level 5 judge. I have only heard of levels 1, 2, 3 for judges, what is a level 5 judge?

Do you feel that lotus field could be used as quick mana as well in this list? Saw a amulet archdruid charm deck that used it for quick mana by aspiring spike but was curious if there was even room in the build to make it work?

@@TheEPICStorm your right haha. I should have waited till the end to comment. Do you think abundant harvest might be the way to get more consistency in the deck instead of izzet charm? I'm gonna dig online and see if I can spot any consistent cards for fetching amulet since once the deck even gets one it seems to just take off.
