Great video, but I have one issue/nitpick: 16:50 you say Lalo *offered* Jimmy $100,000, but what really happened was: Lalo said that jimmy didn’t have to do it, and he could just find someone else, but at the last second, jimmy said “$100,000” meaning it was completely his choice to get the money, something I only noticed when I rewatched season 5 this week.

I absolutely love the flash-forwards of “Jean Takovich” and Jimmy’s life after Breaking Bad. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this break away part of the story in season 6, or if it will end with Walter White making an appearance cause that would just be nostalgic…

I think so, too, but Breaking Bad will always have the upper hand, because we didn't know what to expect from it. We were introduced to some boring teacher, who descended from a normal family life into absolute insanity and chaos. That's something Better Call Saul will never be able to recreate. We already know who the characters in BCS are and what we'll get from those whom we don't know.

@@igkgigoh I'm surprised how perfectly everything adds up.. Can't find any gap in the character development. But I agree with you, it cant have the BB impact.. That show remains a favorite.. Although, I love the new characters and am intrigued as to how it leads into Breaking bad. Plus all the backstories are just amazing.

everything is just so fucking detailed and there’s no gaps anywhere, but yeah I think the character development in Breaking Bad is just something that can’t really be recreated. both 10/10.

@@tarunmood Totally. I'm sure there are some plot holes if you look close enough, but to me it looks like everything is written so precisely. I'm sure you would see a paperclip being dropped in BCS if somebody picked one up in BB. Just an extraordinary series, I can't wait to see how it ties in to BB and hopefully continues after that. Here's to hoping that we'll get another spin off after the events of BB, once season 6 of BCS has ended.

I gotta be honest, Better Call Saul really does enhance breaking bad in many significant ways, it's like a piece of literature, that will be analyzed in the future in many interesting ways Although, we watch this for fun and also because it's great, but unfortunately if this does gets analyzed it will become a chore to students due to how slow the shows can be for most of the time

19:02 11:16/13:04 8:27 The way Chuck used the tape to get to take down Jimmy, knowing the tape itself isn't worth enough, reminds me of how Hank convinced Walt that the car he used to bury the money had a GPS, which was not true anymore of such cars. This recap is great, i have just one issue: 17:44 you say that Lalo accepts Kim's explanation, but he doesn't, Kim's point is that Lalo didn't trust his own people to do the job and that he needed to get his house in order instead of distrusting Jimmy who had saved him. While Lalo is smart and knows there is something shady going on with Saul, he listens to Kim, and that is why he puts Nacho to the test.

Best recap out there by a long shot. Only mistake I spotted is that Mike never actually assumes Tuco's gun was his. He just states to the prosecution that the gun wasn't Tuco's... making it implicit he was forced into that position.
