Gold Pride was just added in Indomitable Pride and is often used alongside either P.U.N.K. or Evil Eye in the normal meta, but both have been largely banned (I checked). But we can still play it quite pure, with only a small P.U.N.K. engine for some LP lowering and a targeted negate set up with some other generic LP deficit creators in Ready Fusion and Upstart Goblin (none of which are necessary to play this deck).
And I must say, it is a lot of fun! There are many ways to play your lines, meaning that a better player will have better performance, which is always great in my book. It does have some glaring weaknesses as its recovery isn't great, but overall it was a very joyful experience bringing Gold Pride to the Theme Chronicle. 5/7 would recommend!
