I was saddened when I heard Tenth Ave was ending but this song is awesome and resonates with where I am in my life right now! I became a Christian in 2009, so Tenth Ave was monumental for me new in my faith. I sang "Hold My Heart" as a solo in front of my church in 2010 (I am not a talented singer at all but I felt a connection to God through that song). I am preparing to do my 3rd solo in front of our church, "Times". God is guiding me through uncharted waters as I shift careers for myself and my family. It is going to get better for us. 💪😊✊ For the record, I am a new CNA soon to be in Nursing school to become an RN. 🙂

Mike, your wife's voice is so angelic and such a wonderful addition to your music. I hope she sings more in your future songs. Whoever told her that her voice wasn't good was just mean, spiteful and completely wrong. I hope that with this song and you by her side, she will find her confidence again. The moment when your wife's voice joins in, I was expecting her to walk up behind you and put her hand on your shoulder, as if to say, "it's going to get better"

This song definitely reminds me of Worn in the aspect that sometimes the most comforting thing is the truth, and truth is usually a question that goes unanswered. So there's a sort of hope in the hopelessness because we have the salvation of Christ in a broken world.

This is so amazing Mike. Love it. Your wife sounds so lovely also. Maybe make more music with her being your background singer?

The simplicity, calmness, and realness in emotion was so beautiful...thank you mike & all who were apart of this song + video for making/helping capture this. Really just makes me want to cry to God in how much this hits - especially at 2:50 with your wife's voice, really spoke within me. Great lyrics & great video!

Some parts of this song has that classic T.A.N but with more OG feels of the lead singer and I really like how it sounds similair to "It's Always Been You" 😀

Loved your comment! We are His. When we see Him, we will be like Him and see Him as He is! We see so dimly, yearn for Him, and to our realize the redemption fully. We ache!

Oh I try to fix your heart But I leave with broken parts Like a criminal would I try to cover you with love But the damage has been done Will I ever be enough? If I could take us far from here Make the trouble disappear You know that I would If I could make the burden light Put the stars back in your eyes I wish that I could Tell me, it's gonna get better It's gonna get better It's gonna get better Is it gonna get better? Tell me it's gonna get better Tell me it's gonna get better It's gonna get better Cause it's gotta get better Will it always be this hard Like we're driving through the fog Waiting for the sun One day we'll watch it burn away We'll be amazed we chose to stay I pray that we would Tell me, it's gonna get better It's gonna get better It's gonna get better Is it gonna get better? Tell me it's gonna get better Tell me it's gonna get better It's gonna get better It's gotta get better It may never be easy But it gets better believe me It may never be easy So tell me now You'll never leave me It's gonna get better It's gonna get better It's gonna get better Tell me, it's gonna get better

Are you worshiping your wife with this song in the video? I get that impression. I pray that you don’t ever go to hell for stuff that other people who are bad, do.
