Thank you for being honest at least. I’m a user of retin-a. It’s a very good product used with moisturizer, sunscreens, and other products. However, I think most of your results have come from your extended use of BOTOX!!! Be real! You are a joke!!

GIRL STOP! There's NO way you're 60 years of age... mind blown 🤯 you EASILY look 15 years younger, and I'm genuinely not very generous with compliments like this. I started using Tretinoin in 2020 at 21 when I got religious about skincare during quarantine and you just motivated me to keep it up.

@@scorpianna420 I'm 23 and I have never had any issues with acne so my derm never lost a word about it to me either! I I got all the info online during the lockdown phase in 2020/22 and now I'm getting my prescription from my GP 🤷🏼‍♀️

I found your channel about a year ago. I too didn’t take care of my skin, loads of sun damage and didn’t have a skincare regime to speak of. I’m 61 and have doubled down on my skincare for the past year. Thank you for being an example that it’s never too late! Absolutely better at 60 I’ve been using retin A for years and had benefits, but I can’t afford all the other things you’ve done and also don’t want to put in all that time. Obviously it’s your “job” to try all these treatments and products so you are going to get much better results than most. I started a consistent skincare routine w doctors approval and was age appropriate at 14. I increased products and tweaked it through the years but I never stopped. Skin costs money. I have spent a lot on my skin. I’m 50 I don’t regret anything. I love my skin

I am seriously so thankful that I found you 10 years ago because I have had similar changes in my skin and my eyelids were much like yours, and now they are substantially lifted. 🙌Also, the quality and condition of my skin has completely changed! I found a similar thing that Angie found, and that is that over time when I would put a little bit of Retin-A under my eyebrows, after putting it on my face, it gradually firmed the skin of my eyelids because it migrates down and ends up improving the look of the hoods substantially. My before, and after pics looks so much like Angie’s improvement. I probably saw it a few years after starting definitely worth it ! Slow and steady…

I too wish I had taken better care of my skin back in the day but it’s never to late to start ….. hence 10 years now of continued appropriate skincare and I’m loving the compliments I get when people find out my age! @@Rebecca640 not really Retin A is the same as Trenotin which you need a prescription for it’s much stronger than retinols you can buy over the counter…the retinols do contain a small percentage of the retin A … I think the ROC brand of products contain the most

I started watching KZfaq and your channel a few years ago when I turned 50. Thank you for being so transparent and doing so much research with the products you use and recommend. Wow! What a dramatic change in your hooded eyes. I hope mine can become less hooded (I miss my younger eyelids the most lol). It’s so encouraging to see that our skin can look better in time, not worse. I think both before and after look great! I also know that HRT plays a role in how our skin looks. It's difficult to say what has had the biggest impact given the variety of procedures, supplements, devices, and medications that all impact our skin. There's no shame in doing whatever one chooses to do. Personally I try to embrace getting older and remind myself that it's a gift. Love your videos Angie.

HRT is a huge player in how your skin ages. Women on HRT are miles ahead in stopping the winkles, collagen loss, muscle tone, and protecting fat levels in skin. It all changes when your body goes through menopause or abrupt hormonal changes and the damage is very noticeable. Oestrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone levels are protected on HRT.

filler doesnt ever go away it just moves to different planes and flattens out over time, that volume is still there and a big contributor to your results. extra volume does wonders for texture.

I believe retin A is the basis for good skin as we age. At 64 I have used a number of things including Nira and Omnilux but I believe without retin A and good sunscreen my results would be diminished. It truly is a process to keep your skin its best when you age but I feel it is worth it. Thanks for all of the great advice!

@@MISSYMINX261 I like the Nira. I have seen some of the fine lines diminish. If I had to choose between the Nira and the LED mask, I would definitely pick the LED mask. But I do think the NIra will reduce Botox treatments, which I only do every 6 months or so.

Thank you for sharing your 10 year journey in under 17 minutes. I am almost 50 and have had on and off again experiences with intense sun exposure. The fine lines are starting to catch up. I am thankful for your channel! You have practical advice on what works for you and why it may not work for everyone. It's hard to trust someone who says a product will work wonders for everyone. Also, if you didn't have a great personality, I wouldn't keep watching. You feel like a friend after watching just a few of your videos. WHOA! I knew it would be a difference, but I didn’t know it would be that much! You look 10 years younger than you did 10 years ago!!! Stunning! (And it’s not like you looked bad at ALL back then. You’re beautiful no matter what.) I noticed that when I started getting botox that my hooded eyes were lifted. There is a technique that they can do to raise the eyebrows. So, that may explain how her eyes are no longer hooded.

I have used retin a as long as Angie and have watched Angie from the beginning. I also had hooded eyes and now my eyelids are greatly lifted. The difference is, I don't have botox. I definitely think the retin a has lifted my eyelids. I am now 67.

I've used treninoin for 24 years, I started in my late 20's. When I was about 38, I got carded in a casino because they thought I was under 18. I look dramatically better than others my age, even better than those in their 30's even NOW. I haven't found I needed to work up to a very high dose. I started at .025%, as a redhead with very sensitive skin, I tried to work up to .05% but it didn't work out and I have remained on .025% all this time and I have not had a loss in collagen. I look mid 30's.

Your skin quality is incredible 10 years later. Yes, you have fewer wrinkles, but your redness is almost gone, and the 'glow' to your skin looks incredible. A very beautiful 60-year-old woman. Your channel helped me with my skincare routine so I hope to look better than you at 60!

Agree with the comment below. Seems like a lot more going on than Retin-A to lift up the eyelids. Not sure this video is explaining the entire process involved and therefore might be slightly misleading.

I just got my NIRA after 12+ weeks. Unfortunately, it’s going back. Luckily I had my sister’s to test and had been using hers at Level 3. Then when I got mine, I set it to Level 3. Hardly felt anything. Turned it all the way up to 5 and that felt no different than 3. Used them side-by-side on my face. I can definitely feel hers, but mine barely gets warm. Soooodisappointing. Moral of the story: Do you know someone who already has one so you at least know what to expect?

Definite improvement and excellent results. But you mention HRT only as a footnote. HRT is a MAJOR factor in mitigating facial aging and ought to be highlighted as the significant anti-aging intervention that it is.

I love your dedication, thank you for this 10-year update. You look amazing! :) For me, I just don't know how much can be attributed to the Retin-A alone when you had some procedures done and especially since you are using botox. Again- you look fantastic and I love that for you, I can only hope I look as good when I'm around your age (I'm currently 25). It just feels like the update loses a bit of credibility because of it, if that makes sense. If someone can do an update like you do every once in a while, just without ANY procedures, fillers, etc. then that is 100% the Retin-A doing its work, there is no ambiguity there. Just wanted to share my thoughts on this, and I'd love to hear yours.

Using a LED Mask for my acne was the best thing ever for my skin I mean honestly the amount of acne it got rid of was so impressive now I just use Tretinoin , benzoyl peroxide, and a redness cream I highly recommended a LED Mask if ur acne looks bad if nothing else works for you

Wow, what an incredible testimonial. Your skin is beautiful for a 30-year-old let alone a 60-year-old!! What you also need to consider is that you are 10 years older now, and at a relatively critical juncture in aging! I’m also 60 years old, and the changes in my face during my 50s really knocked me into next level skin care. I’ve always been pretty good about basic skincare, but as you mentioned, the products and science today are light years ahead of what we had in our youth. I appreciate your channel a lot and get a lot of good information from here!

My trick to starting Tretinoin was putting a good, noncomedogenic moisturizer on my face FIRST, then I put a pea sized amount of tretinoin all over my face, then I topped it off with more moisturizer again (sandwich method). Makes a HUGE difference in the peeling and irritation. I went to every 3 days by week 3 this way. I use Red Box rx for my tretinoin.

@Pompilia overall the quality of the video and pics is trash and makes everything look smoother. Compare the quality of the pics from before to now. 10 years later and a worse quality? Wtf. And in the video and some pics you can clearly see her skin is blurred and you can't even see pores on some parts of the face.

I don't use any filters in my pictures or in my videos. Everything is filmed and shot in HD and processed in HD. If you're seeing "trash" quality it's most likely because of your playback. KZfaq usually plays video at 720p which reduces quality. Click the little gear at the bottom of the video and be sure to select 1080p under "Quality" so you can watch in HD.

Your skin looks great, better in some ways and for your age, but I also see your latest picture and video is blurred in particular areas, like behind the eyes and forehead, theres nothing wrong with using filters or retouch but in this case we want to see the accurate before and after. I’m 70 and have been using Retin A for about 5 years. Sure wish I had started in my 40s and been more diligent with my sunscreen back then. I had one Fraxel treatment in my 60s and was pretty underwhelmed, especially considering the cost. I think the Retin A is helping keep my wrinkles from getting worse. I’m a pretty happy person and made peace with my laugh lines that they are proof of a life well lived.

I started using Retin A and also bought a wedge pillow after learning these things from Angie. I don't do Botox - just too expensive for me. I have to say that I have the same type of results as Angie. The biggest one is my hooded eyes, wow. I look at photos taken in my late 50's and compare them to today and it is really amazing. I am 66. I have also seen a huge improvement in my marionette lines - they are pretty much gone. I attribute that to sleeping on my back. I use sunscreen, Vitamin C and Cerave. Angie I can't thank you enough. You have brought so much knowledge and taught me many things that have helped.

So glad I found your channel. I turned 50 last year and just spent the last week having my first severe hot flashes. Many times a day and on and off, all night long. Omg Angie... i just started a low dose.025 retinA and it was transforming with just 1 dose!! I thought i must be dreaming when my texture and pores looked better & jawline looked snatched. Already?? Added benefit is it seemed to suck up my excess oil since im a combo skin girl. Dark spots on my checks are fading. This is def a beefier product than the Avene .1 renital. I love your channel and I love your honesty! I also love how natural you look! A lot of women by the time they are your age have had significant work done and sometimes it shows! They start to look fake. You look incredible and amazing! I didn't find your channel till recently especially since I'm getting up there in age and I can't take skincare advice and makeup tips from the "younger" makeup channels anymore because my skin has definitely changed. Retin A works. My dermatologist used it on one of his hands. He retired at 70 something and he would show his patients the difference between his hands, one treated with Retin A and the other without. Needless to say, the hand with Retin A was smooth and youthful looking while his other hand wasn't.
