I began to read the ingredients lists on the products I buy. After reading the ingredients in my shampoo, I'm using it now only to wash my car with. Works great for that purpose.

I have heard this before. And I do understand the premise. I may try it. But, it’s hard for me to wrap my mind around not using soap. Then today I was reading my Bible and I came across this verse. Exodus 40:30 ESV “He set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing…” Soap was not mentioned.

I have not used any soap or shampoo since I watched your last shampoo video and I now know there is absolutely no need to use them. I also started a low carb high fat diet about 2 months ago and started buying organic where ever possible. Prior to this I have had 12 years of depression and poor mental health and within days of starting this diet my mental health improved significantly. Now 2 months on I have lost 2 stone and quite honestly I have never felt so good since I was a kid and I am now 51. I absolutely truly believe that's sugar and processed foods are a deliberate attempt to make people unwell and cause all manner of sickness. I am now fully off antidepressants for one month and have absolutely no anxiety whatsoever. I tried coming off these meds 4 times before and it was always the anxiety that forced me to resume taking them. My joint pain has gone, nose bleeds after 25 years has healed and no longer feel 70 although I'm only 51. I feel incredible mentally and physically, that's all I can say. Why am I writing this? Well you seem to be a purist who wants to live a very healthy life and beat the deceivers who want to poison us and see us in an early grave. If you just look at the Dr's and proponents of the Keto diet, they all look like a picture of pure health and that is because from the inside they are and it is reflected on the outside by their amazing skin and appearance. The sharpness and clarity of mind this diet gives you is absolutely wonderful and even when I wake up in the morning I never feel that heavy depressed way, I want to get up and enjoy another wonderful day that God has made. This is obviously how being healthy feels and for decades I didn't know it and ruined so much of my life by consuming poisonous inflammatory processed foods and refined sugars. I now know these are total poison and cause mental illness and ll manner of disease. To some this might sound far fetched but it's a slow process that takes time to do it's real damage. Thanks for your video and for exposing the corruption of the cosmetic and perfume industry. The larger part of the corporate world is utterly corrupt but thankfully if we are armed with a little bit of knowledge we can navigate the poisons and consume the right and healthy options and in doing so support the good companies to continue in their good. Take care. 🙂

Great comment. I stopped sugar, seed oils, gluten and all pharmaceuticals, (I was taking a lot of nurofen for joint soreness) and haven’t had sore joints or depression since, and have great mental clarity. I believe all the poison we consume keeps our mental state and conscience suppressed.

The Bacon & Butter Diet This diet is great! It's great for the bacon industry, it's great for the dairy industry, and it's great for the medical and pharma industries. And it's great for those who choose to believe it's great, but it is not great for people's bodies. And it doesn't matter your blood type, hair color, or Zodiac sign, it is horrible for your body. The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, moderate protein, low-carb diet that forces the body to burn fat for fuel. But since the body's primary fuel source is carbs (the good kind), forcing it to use a "survival" fuel source like fat will help you lose fat weight, but will tax the body in the process. We are meant to use fat for fuel when fasting or when food is scarce - body fat, not dietary fat - and as a temporary measure. If done long term, you will lose health along with the weight, but this fact is conveniently missing from books such as the book above. So you can lose weight with this diet? Sure! But you can lose weight by getting cancer or doing liposuction. There are unhealthy ways to lose weight - many of them - and there is a healthy way to lose weight. Which sounds better for your health? Is this diet unhealthy because I say it is? No. It is unhealthy because reality says it is. And you can argue with reality, and you will lose, but only 100% of the time. Seriously, if you're considering this diet and you care about your health, you'll do your due diligence and research it, and not just the literature that supports this diet (there are of course some loaded studies that will support it), and not the sellout MDs who tout the diet on TV, but also consider the "anti" literature... the info that makes sense even though you don't want to hear it because you hear bacon and butter calling you. [BTW, I saw this book recommended on a webpage that was talking about the unhealthy effects from wearing nail polish. An example of a webpage that has both great info and horrible info all under the banner of health improvement.] -Don Bennett.

No deodorant for almost 4 years. Initially it was by accident I forgot deodorant on vacation, noticed I didn’t smell, so never went back. Hubby hasn’t noticed. When I do notice any pit smell, I’ve read it’s because of bad bacteria on the skin, not my inherent smell. A swipe of a lemon slice or some rubbing alcohol takes care of it. I also started my “silver” hair journey at the same time and have beautiful streaks people compliment me on. No more dye!!! Then almost 2years ago I went water only with my hair. I really struggled with it because we had hard water, but we recently got a whole house water softener that was a game changer. Occasionally (every couple weeks) I used an apple cider vinegar rinse. In the last year I reduced my soap usage to pits and groin and changed my soap to all natural product. But I suspect I could do without that too. You have inspired me to add dry brushing! This has been a journey of awaking from the lies companies tell us in order to sell products. They have convinced people that our bodily fluids and oils are gross. Sweat is just water and salt, basically. They have also convinced people to wash off their natural oils and put on their expensive products instead. What a scam!

When I heard that when women take birth control pills it changes their sense of smell. So 1 minute you might like the smell of your man but the next minute when you stop taking your birth controls you don't like his smell no more. And I'm thinking to myself what about deodorant that really changes your body odor completely. So not just the fact that birth controls change your sense of mouth but also body deodorant also changes your body's smell so for me as a man that's not good. Like I'm trying to attract a woman I'm still a virgin man and I'm 34 I still want a woman but I don't want it to be non-organic. Don't wear body yoga I don't wash with soaps okay do you use living clean on my hair because I really don't like the oiliness of my head. But my hair is short really really short and it feels fine I haven't used shampoo whatsoever for like 2 weeks I have a daily cold shower for 6 minutes and that's it. And I believe which stems from male genital mutilation and viagra sayings. It was ramped up during the '60s when the Jewish population came over. But the medical practice of it resulted in tons of money for Viagra signs but you don't see Viagra being sold in countries like Japan China Russia and very very very very very little to non-existent in Germany and no Viagra sales in Ireland or Scotland and very little in the UK. Tons in the US Canada Africa Africa and Korea. Why South Korea let's see America went to the Vietnam America went to Africa America went to Germany and the Jewish came to America and to Canada what else They went to Korea during Vietnam though. So they replaced that the Americans went after world war II resulted in male genital population and Viagra sales. And then we have the current vaccination shot s which are not vaccination shots WEF wants gene editing programs and credentials on everybody digitalized which the Canadian government has been exposed for covid-19 shots and arrive cam. Basically an app for Canadians to have to enter and leave Canada. All WEF stuff And the medical big pharmaceuticals is like all these these genes splicing therapy vaccination shots that we call the 19s and boo ster shot completely safe even though it has resulted in many people getting zerod which then leads me to thinking what about sneaker companies shoe companies they make shoes to deform your feet in order to keep on buying their products they sell you these pads for your souls of your shoes to make you walk a certain way. But I want you to do this to walk on me keep your feet loose and dangly lift your knees up your thigh up to the end drop your leg down don't even use your other half of your head your leg a good practice is drag your toes on the ground as you move forwards with a loose foot. Like a limp foot spat and practice that and you will have a better posture better walking speeds better everything help. Takes time takes practice but it works. That's why I went with the vibram shoes because they were zero and are shaped like your feet there's even toe shoes. And I found my feet and my body to be extremely comfortable I walked 20 mines in them nothing nothing is wrong with me I feel healthier the pain in my pinky foot is gone after wearing those steel shoes steel toe shoes. What else so I've concluded that these shampoo companies and products their deforming your body so that you become dependent upon them so that you have to keep using the product product. That's why I refuse to shampoo conditioner and all sorts of stuff The only time I wear deodorant and perfumes is if I'm going out with people who I know and and stuff and if I meet a woman there and we want to hook up and date I tell her deliberately I'll tell her deliberately don't use birth controls don't wear deodorants. Because you never know you might not like me after you get off the birth controls and then our time with investing completely out of window. Organic is always better

When you stop to think about it one has to ask how could it possibly be that for lo these thousands of years we managed without a chemical industry to survive and even thrive, to be clean and attractive to each other using just what God provided in the world around us. I love how clear and empty my shower is without all the products. I do have a shampoo bar that I used once a week, maybe more if it’s summertime where it’s very hot and humid. Old shampoo if useful as a toilet soap. Just fill the container with water, whatever shampoo is left can be squirted into the toilet as you scrub it each day. as it empties, you just add more water. This idea comes courtesy of Flylady.

So funny. First you come out with the no shampoo video where I commented that I stopped using about 8 years ago and now this... I haven´t used cleaning products on my skin for 25 years or so. Not even deodorant. As with the shampoo, I DO use a bar of soap when my skin is actually dirty (ie. working on an engine or building something where I can get covered in oil, grease or cement) but usually just a shower is fine. I give myself a good rub down (not with a brush, just my hands) under the shower and that´s it. Never had any skin problems and at 63, I have been told I have a younger man´s skin. I also have very honest friends and a brutally frank girlfriend 🤣🤣so I know I don´t smell. Yes, I excersise every day (3km dog walk) and digging, plot maintenance and so on and I´ve also been a vegetarian for 40 years, so that must help. A couple of tips: NEVER wear synthetic fibers. If I do I start to smell the moment I sweat even the slightest bit. If you´re going out or have a special meeting or date and you´re worried about smelling, dab some aftershave (in my case, perfume for the girls) under you armpits so you smell nice if you do sweat. It´s more for confidence than for anything else.

Try a loofah, a natural sponge (the sea creature), sand, a pumice stone or pumice grit. If it's an oily mess, a thinner oil is often the best remover. Try coconut oil or tallow. A combination of sand and ashes will take off gunk that nothing else can handle. Caution: don't wash sand, grit, or clay down your drains. The pipes will eventually clog. Use a basin and dump the dirty water on the ground outside.

You can use lovely all-natural handmade soap from artisan soap makers, they usually sell at farm markets, ask them what oils they use - go for a lovely gentle bar with shea butter for example. Definitely avoid the nasty chemical shower gels and mass produced soap with chemical additives and artificial fragrances.

It's not just about the chemicals in conventional body washes and soaps. You are disrupting your microbiome with natural soaps too. Hi Dr, I recently saw your no shampoo video and decided to try it. I started about 6 weeks ago washing my hair once a week and although it's not been long I am quiet pleased with the result. I will persevere with it for the time being. I recently concocted a face moisturiser and as a pre-shave balm and an aftershave. The first time I used it I never had a Nano second of pain/stinging or irritation with it and now use daily as a moisturiser. If interested it is equal parts of 1,Olive oil, 2, Almond Oil, 3, Caster Oil, Grapeseed Oil and a few drops of Tee Tree oil which is optional. As your going oh natural, make your own moisturiser and see how you get on. Could make a video of how you got on. Shall be trying the no body soap next Doc, thanks for all the interesting videos and very useful suggestions, great channel and never dull.

Dry brushing sounds good but unfortunately doesn't suit everyone. All it did was cause my spider veins to break even more, I wish I never touched the brush, I now have more broken veins from my feet all the way up to my hip/wasteline.. tried different brushes and a softer brush, tried using a softer hand, but for me all it did was aggravate my veins.. I usually use a non toxic liquid body wash for my skin, which seems much better then using soap.

I have recently(within the last year) stopped using traditional soap and started using Castile soap and my hands, face, body and hair look so much better. I had been losing my hair to the point I had just thought it was age. But after quitting commercial soap my hair is better than ever.

@@zerotoleranceforsataniceli4794 I was thinking about that. Funny enough natural fragrance free soap doesn't even taste bitter/bad (yes I tried it haha). No chemicals to dry out your skin, just enough to lessen the surface tension of the water.

The problem ist the glycerin and also all the chemicals in the products. Glycerin dries out the skin. If you use soap without it, it´s better, but they´re rare to find.

I know that our phones listen to us because recently, I stopped shampooing my hair and then your video popped up tonight. My hair us to the middle of my back and since I stopped shampooing it has been beautiful much to my surprise. I will watch your no shampoo video. I prefer baths - I bath with baking soda and epsom salt but I bet i would do better without those additives. So as I watched this video in the bath tonight, I used my dry brush on my skin. The brushing feels invigorating. Thank you for sharing,

Fantastic video! I grew up not using any deodorants, sprays, perfumes, etc. But i was addicted to organic shampoos and conditioners, i have hair like sams and couldn't see my way without them. I have tried the baking soda and ACV, and it is quite amazing. Only a few days of it but good so far. If anyone listens to Sinclair Kennally she talks a lot about the toxins in products and what we are exposed to regardless how hard we try. I do without plastics, use filters and a water distiller, but there is much I can't afford to do at this time however, every bit helps. In the 70s we determined deodorants might be affecting the lymph system and causing breast issues including cancer, no idea if solid studies were ever done but i do infra red sauna every day and some red light therapy during the week. I've always lived healthy so Sam is right, the body is amazing. A verse in the Bible says we are "fearfully and wonderfully made". Yes, we are

I stopped using deodorant a while ago, probably a few months now and was surprised at the lack of smell. Just decided that and aftershave were unnecessary chemicals I didn't need. Glad I stopped using them. Will have to try this dry brushing idea though as this will mean even less chemical contact, that said I use plant based products to shower and natural soap.

I personally use Coconut oil in small amounts as my "makeup remover" also as my face & body moisturizer, my skin has never been better! Use in small amounts and be cautious around your hairline as the oils can travel. I used to purchase ALL of the products and now am sooo satisfied using Colloidal silver, kawakawa and Coconut oil as my go to's 😊

Otherwise, I simply have my portable glass dispenser with water, natural salt & baking soda mixture that I use in the house and take it with me outside.

What is the advantage of "dry-brushing" as opposed to simply scrubbing While showering? Because both brushing and scrubbing accomplishes the same thing. You are removing the outer/surface layer of dead skins cells, dirt, and contaminants. The only difference it seems is doing this while showering will allow the water to instantly wash such things away. Whereas dry-brushing may allow airborne skin/stuff to resettle on your body (obviously that's one reason you shower after dry-brushing). Thank you.

Back in 1993, while having a skin cancer removed, my dermatologist was telling me that he never used soap when shampooing. I thought he was nuts. Yet he had beautiful skin that was soft and smooth. He said he would dry brush before showering. I bought a good body brush, and started dry brushing, but would then get in the shower and still used body washes that smelled good. And lotions, lots of lotions, cause like many women, was addicted to pretty smelling lotions. I stopped using all my body washes, but have still used diluted Dr Bonners. That was better, but after washing this video will stop using that as well. When I stopped my addiction to my lotions, I noticed my skin stopped 'needing' the lotions to moisturize my skin. Thank you for the nudge I needed to go the rest of the way.

My middle school Latin teacher told us that in ancient Roman bathhouses, folks would open theirvpores with hot water, use a scraping tool to exfoliate/remove oil, then rinse with cold water to re-close the pores. Also, doctors would retrieve the discarded scrapers and use the oil/sweat/dead skin mix in medicines.
