@@mastroitek The EQ settings sound like beginning hearing loss in the high frequency area - where is usually starts. Personally I like cutting 350Hz about -2 dB (½ octave BW) and boosting 4-5k Hz some 3 dB.

I just like a lot of air to my mix. It’s probably bright for some but my hearing isn’t going away. I wear earplugs and listen at moderate levels. If I listen at loud volumes it is within, actually shorter than osha guidelines for time.

@@jah0nix It is pretty sharp but when I walk around I like to have a V shaped sound signature. I normaly don't play music at laud volumes so it should be fine. I did a hearing test just over a year ago and I can still hear over 20KHz, so no problems there. But yeah, turning down the 10KHz+ range a couple of dB is not a bad idea

@@nightmagician542 Hey! It was rough for a while. They were inconsistent. Sometimes I could get them to work, sometimes, no matter what I tried, they wouldn't connect. When I got them, I was on a Note20U. I don't know if it was a firmware issue or what. Anyway, I decided to purchase the Beats Studio buds, which work flawlessly with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. When I tried my Razor's after a while of not using them on my iPhone, they started working fine. So now I use them for certain use-case scenarios and they work every time. I don't know what happened, but they're fine now. If you're a risk taker, go for it! However, the Beats are just so good (for the price)--I bought refurbished--that they've become my go-to. Good luck!

Just purchased these an hour ago. I read a few reviews and comparisons against AirPods Pro both similarly the verdict was that noise cancelling is better on the AirPods Pro. Even when I own an iPhone 11, decided to get the Razer's because of the features. Thanks for this review.

@David McKee if you use Spotify, theres a built in 5-band EQ that works pretty seamlessly (only works on Spotify of course). I haven't used an iPhone in a while but it should be in settings, playback , then Equalizer.

Hey bud thanks for the EQ settings i tried it on my razer nommo and kraken ultimate, with a +2 31hz,63hz. +1 125hz and 500hz and -1 250hz , sounds amazing and clear minimal muffle sound. And a decent base

I made the purchase only after being convinced by this video, the audio quality of the TWS Pro is good, but the custom equalization you suggested definitely brought me to another planet, I'm f*****g lovin' it, thanks a lot from an engineer cousin (biomedical, but with a huge passion for music). Don't know if you'll ever read this, I'll make a try anyways: any custom eq settings for an improved reggae music listening? That would literally leave me with no words to say. Keep it up with the good work, you're amazing!

Good review, but none of the reviews I've read or watched mention that the codec support for these are limited to sbc/aac. Probably a deal breaker for some users.

Like the video. I'm glad that you are going to be reviewing more earbuds. I was wondering when you were going to do that considering that you are an audio engineer I like to hear the perspective of people who actually engineer sound for a living. Your EQ settings are similar to my except for I prefer a little bit more bass in my music because I am a hip hop head from way back. Are you ever going to review the Google pixel buds 2? I would love to hear your perspective on those. My personal perspective on them is that I can't recommend them because they have way too many connection issues and their performance is inconsistent. It's a shame because I really like them and I wanted them to be great. Maybe they're pro version will be better. But they really have to do better about their technological inconsistencies with their earbuds. Well actually I may have done your review for you... Lol. Have a good one my friend!

Really like your EQ settings. (Used the values in parenthesis.) Crushed the THX settings for sure. Thanks! (Tested to metal, Ich Tu Dir Weh, for example, and vibey tunes, Bloodstream, for example. Good for both genres.)

@@John-tb3ug it's much lower latency than typical BT earbuds, which have terrible delay. I personally wouldn't use it for FPSers because of the fractions of delay still there but it makes it perfectly usable for less precise games compared to typical BT earbuds.

One of the main reasons why I love my EarPods Pro is because I don't feel a pressure build up in my ears with them in. does these also have that feature as well??

These pair of Razer earbuds seem like a copy of the Liberty Air 2's earbuds from Soundcore. Not only the earbuds are similar but the case and also the app. In case anyone can compare both, I'd appreciate it

Do these have anything to help with sound quality when gaming? With my V-Moda crossfade’s while gaming on Bluetooth they sound like absolute garbage VS being plugged in they sound normal.

I have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM3s which were highly requested for me to purchase due to their audio quality. I'm thinking of buying the new Hammerhead TW Pros though since I'm using a Razer Blade. I was thinking that I would want to go full-on RAZER for my gaming ecosystem. And yes, I am a hardcore RAZER fanboy. Any thought as to should I purchase the new Hammerheads? I was also eyeing the Airpod Pros since I have an iPhone. Need some advice guys

I never comment on anything usually but I watched all of your videos on the Razer True wireless headphones and finally pulled the trigger on the True Wireless Pro, I've always used headphones but needed something more portable but I'm usually let down by earphones. Thank you so much for all the info and effort, these things sounds amazing and your custom eq settings are genius.

First of all great video and explanation but there is one missing point and it is important because you know these are gaming earphones. Hammerhead truewireless doesnt support discord and stop the volume if you open discord but what about these? DO THEY SUPPORT DISCORD? ??

I think that a great test song for whenever I get some headphones is Runnin' with the Devil by Van Halen because in the intro there is a part where it's just Michael Anthony hitting a really low on on the bass for a measure or two, and that reveals a good pair of headphones, or a bad pair
