Today, we are making Liang Mian Huang (两面黄). Huang (黄) means golden brown. Liang Mian (两面) means double-sided. The name describes the look of this dish because the noodles are pan-fried on both sides until golden brown. It is like a CRUNCHY version of Chow Mein and topped with a saucy vegetable and protein stir fry. Super delicious and easy to make.

This is the all time favorite of the men in our household. Thank you. I’ve had trouble with these noodles, not being able to tell which need boiling or not. We even have this brand at one store. Thank you for helping those of us who didn’t grow up with Chinese ingredients. We actually prefer to make Chinese for 3 times a week on average.

This exactly what I've been looking for. I've eaten this in a few restaurants over the years and I love it. It has been difficult to find in many restaurants though, as they have dishes called chow mein with crispy noodles, and it turns out they use these tiny little crispy noodles that are more akin to thin potato crisps, and to me they are trash compared to these noodles.
