People who are new will buy it. Niantics business models is NOT PLAYER RETENTION! They want new players who get trapped into fomo and buy this stuff that’s been in game for years. Old players don’t like it and don’t buy it new players will before they become old players and the cycle continues.

I’m contemplating just going into NYC on lucario raid day and raiding like a fiend with lucky eggs to hit level 50 (I hit 49 during NYC gofest and I’m at 17 million exp out of 30 mill right now) I enjoy raiding, I love lucario, and I have nothing better to do that day. I have a hundo lucario maxed out, but the xl candy with the pass will be super helpful.

I just thought of it but those who have Dusk Mane may have a higher chance of encounter shiny Alolan Eggxcutor since it spawns on Duskmane’s special incense (and no I do not mean players get higher shiny odds, I mean players will have a chance to encounter it more frequently compared to someone without DuskMane’s incense)

Tynamo comm day doesn't have a XP boost of its own, bonuses this time around are 1/4 Egg hatch distance and 2x catch candy along with the usual 3h lure and incense, but this event will also be active, so 4x catch XP

I had a task to evolve a Pokémon and evolved a random mudkip from the same day, turned out it was a rank 117 ultra league swampert and it learned hydro cannon when I evolved it all the way. I was definitely surprised

Tickets are the new remote raid pass income. Also, EVERY SINGLE POKÉMON ACTS LIKE A SHADOW NOW. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Wild encounter with 36cp? 3 balls, whether it breaks out or "jumps over" the ball RIGHT as you throw it if you're quick-catching, 98% of mons. Shadows don't even attack anymore. 1/6 times will a shadow act like it used to, but by all means, make me throw 3 balls at every single wild 100dust mon because THAT'S worth it. I'm fed up with this game's nonsense. I've barely even gotten every gift opened each day recently. And the new mon? Only good in the great league premier as a dragon counter. Research task? 3 balls, sometimes more if they keep jumping. And it doesn't even matter if you feed it a nanab. It still just jumps and/or attacks at least one more time. They're literally making the game unenjoyable. Raided Necrozma 46 times and got 3 shinies, all trash, and one 98% normal one. I don't understand the disrespect to long term players vs new players. My 2nd account gets WAY better luck and so does my fiancée. Both got a shundo before i did and are less than 2 years old.

The swampert is really the only one in this event . Could also get candies for exeggcute for a decent grass attacker , and the magnemite candies for electric budget raid attacker . Ziggzagoon candies are always worth stacking about all I would say that aren’t pvp only

This year Pokemon Festival only biggest win is we had Beast Ball to catch Necrozma after raid wins even though Necrozma is not belong to Ultra Beast. Others are lousy and most expensive Pokemon Festival. We need to raid almost twenty times and required another 17-19 premium passes in order to get enough 1000 each type of fusion energies for Necrozma fusion. By the way an average 100 fusion energies for each Dusk Mane and Dawn Wing raid wins. Pokemon wild spawn is lousy too. Really so BAD!!!

@@angelaa1611 how? My wife and I did party play all throughout Go Fest and we must've completed like 5 challenges every hour... Just swapping between make 10 great throws and catch 20 Pokemon. I have 8 shiny costume Pikachu's to show for it, they were super easy.
