Billy loved and worked with the "Genius" Ray Charles. I love stories Billy would tell about Ray. Ray was constantly in the course of a tour, signaling the drummer (who leads the band to slow down), Drummers tend to be wired kind of tight. The constant hitting the brakes throughout the performance and tour just wore the guy out. They went through 4 drummers on a 9 month tour.

Britt, I have a duet suggestion for you; Julie Andrews and Carrol Burnett. From their 1962 special they do a melody called History Of Musical Comedy where they sing Broadway tunes of the last sixty years. It’s S’Wonderful which is one of the songs they sing. If you enjoy it there is two more specials( one in the seventies and the late eighties).

This song was made for this Miley, and Billy owns it always. The perfect song and the perfect duet. You have to listen to Billy's turn the lights back on. He went years without writing anything new until he released this a year or 2 ago.

I seldom disagree with you but on this occasion I will, apart from individual flourishes I thought it was pretty awful, I don’t think Miley added to the song at all really. If you want to see her in a very good collaboration check out her and Ariana Grande (?) doing a Crowded House tune a few years back, both of the suited that song beautifully.

Personally, I don't like Miley's Stage presence based on the way she dresses, and the revealing outfits she wears, however I am glad during this performance she toned it down, making this very enjoyable for me to watch. The duet was awesome I have not seen this prior to now, I am going to watch the real version now, so I can see the full screen. Thanks for your Reactions I like them and visit all the time.

We love your videos but may we ask why you choose the live versions of songs. In most cases the studio versions are so much better and will move you even more. Your reactions are among the best out there!

I like the live versions because they show who really has the chops and who is using all the studio gimmicks to improve their abilities. But you are right that most performers sound better on the albums.

really depends on the individual performance. Some songs the studio version captures it best, others might be a particular live version (e.g. Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight" Live from Paris 2009). And others the official music video might be the best if it differs from the album or radio version, even if a live version has better vocals. (e.g. Meatloaf's "Anything for Love")
