This is a very good topic. It's nothing wrong with setting high standards for yourself. However, we must ask ourselves can we live up to the expectations of that person who meets that high standard that we set for ourselves.

I have a testimony… the “Not yet” that I got from God was accompanied by an actual name and reason- Imagine getting a confirmation a day later. It stung for a few moments but it was followed with such great gratitude and I truly felt a sense of renewal and a nod from God saying “There is so much more in store”. Moments later, I got a few calls regarding my career and possible deals. I felt like He was saying “I need you to focus on this for now”.. I am so grateful 💗💗💗 God truly is good

Loved her for so long…her music…her ministry…her journey… her suffering. My daughter and I bonded to her ‘Talk About It’ album!! So when she met Mr. Fiii-INE, I couldn’t have been happier for her…and that her journey THERE, brought encouragement to those of us who are STILL waiting for those ‘breakthroughs’, whether it’s our careers that are barren, or our womb, or our ‘arms’, we can follow those who have walked that journey…❤️

Sis that was such a beautiful story!! Thank you for being so transparent. I was literally saying this to myself that I want to see the goodness of God even if things are not looking too good. I recently experienced a mini heartbreak where I the guy that I liked didnt really like me as much, and I took that really hard. It was the 1st “Godly man” to pursue me (well so I thought he was), but I didnt have a lot of peace with moving things forward with him based on our few conversations. Then Finally, the guy just stopped showing interest in me & I was sad. But watching this, I see it as God’s protection, so I am just gonna wait for his best.

Rejection is God’s protection. He knows when we aren’t willing to give it up ourselves. He loves us too much to allow us to stay in that space. One day you will know why he couldn’t stay. That is also why God tells us to forgive others. You’re upset with Him when he couldn’t help that God ran him off lol. I pray this helps you. 💗 Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made!

As a young 29 yr old person living in a microwave era world, this gave me the encouragement to lay what I want so badly and entrusting God to do his works. Its hard trying to date and live pure in this Era we live in with secular temptations. But I thank God he's keeping me protected with his Sovereign hand and covering me, until my purpose partner is ready ❤

This is a big shift for me, I ended up a relationship that I built myself (I realized it was Ismael after I came to the Lord), although I ALWAYS FELT unsafe, worried and all the emotions we SHUT UP and that we are not supposed to feel in a relationship 💔 My standards have always been high but I settled for less and I wasn't even prepared for those standards... So now I pray to be my godly husbae's expectations and vice-versa... I like when you talked about him praying for a wife who loves God MORE THAN himself... That resonates... Remain blessed and oooh yeah, you have that godly love shine light on you... (We've all noticed😌☝🏽😊) Blessings from Cameroon 🇨🇲

So now I’m a bit confused I’m reading she was married & divorced from David because of “ biblical reasons “.. articles also state he was physically & mentally abusive.. So what is it ? Your question is valid. Marriage and Singleness is a Choice but use wisdom and take your time. But you don't have wait like a waiting room for a Doctor's Office waiting for your Name called. There's no scriptures that say wait until you get Married. If you want to get Married do so. From a Episode of Better Together the. 1st Marriage was in Twenties and that Husband Abused her and she divorced. The 2nd Marriage was with David Mullins was irreconcilable differences. Donnie McClurkin dating but broke up. So what she's sharing is good.
