I always thought she looked more like Emma Peel from The Avengers. And I completely understand her vitriol towards her teachers, when I told my teachers I wanted to be a doctor, they laughed in my face and told me not to even bother to consider going to university. I ignored them, did my A-Levels (even when they told me not to), got into Medical School and ultimately graduated. It's inspiring to see such high achievers like Betty go on to prove those who doubted them wrong.
