everyone's comment is so positive. i understand her style is different, but she is singing just like a pop song, no this is musical theater!! I don't understand why they picked her, they are so many wonderful musical theater professionals, we don't need a pop singer.

@@antheiheiant That said, this number in particular I don't think is giving pop--it doesn't ring true for the character and the piece for me, and I don't really like her singing voice overall (it's underdeveloped for musical theatre in my opinion), but I agree that it doesn't sound like a pop song. Then again, I don't listen to a ton of pop.
