I like that too, but he's just doing his job as *THE BOSS* the video is about microwaving a few bags of marshmallows, that's what they're doing. What is *THE BOSS* supposed to do in your opinion. If you are the kind of boss that sits around and does nothing but look grumpy, your employees and your wife will be miserable people.

If you put a line of them on a plate that doesn't spin for 8 seconds or so and take the wave length of the wave (written on the back) measure the distance between each melted section you can work out the speed of light. I think only Gavin would be interested in that

I do this thing every so often that I call "Marshmallow Chips" where you take a bunch of marshmallows and you put them on a paper plate, put them into the microwave until they all inflate, take it out, then take a second plate and put it on top of the marshmallows sandwiching them down. Wait a couple seconds, lift the plate on top off and the marshmallows will be hard and all you do break bits of them off and eat em like chips.

laura doyle well, the radiation may lead to burns and possibly cancer. But microwaves have a safety interlock. If the door isn't closed, it won't start.

laura doyle The radiation in a microwave isnt stopped by glass or plastic either. The microwave is lined with a conductive mesh called a faraday cage. I recomend looking into them they are pretty cool. On a side note to test a microwaves safety unplug it and put a phone in it and call that phone, if it rings don't use the microwave because it's not stopping the radiation.

One problem why only a few marshmallows melted: The microwave makes a standing wave inside of itself, so there are hot and cold spots. Thats also the reason why you always have a spinning table inside, so the food gets moved around and the heat gets more evenly distributed.
