Sincere gratitude for this. It’s a treat to hear an author imbuing the emotion and inflection he intends into a scene. Your passion for your creative works is inspiring!

I just want to share with you how much I appreciate you uploading this. I saw the synopsis online and honestly, if I wasn’t able to listen to just how good your book is I probably would’ve just left it to die in my TBR like so many other books. It can be a gamble to allow your work to be available for free so I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you uploading these. I ordered your book after listening to part one and now it’s just fun to read along as I listen. I’ve suggested it to my fiancé and he wants to read it now after me. Thank you for this amazing story!

I do want a visual medium but I reckon a series would capture the story in a more genuine way.

Thank you! I've been looking for this as an audio while I work. Quite special to hear a book read by the mind that created it, it makes it so much more decadent and rich ❤

1:00:00 : "He kicked backward at the viol player, catching him in the knee and making his face contort in pain, changing the music from a racy celebration of the drunk's progress to a lament for all unjustly injured musicians." I nearly spat out my drink hahaha

You are an absolute legend for doing these. This is one of my wife’s absolute favourite books, but my preferred time to read is as audiobooks while I’m cooking. And this one’s not available in my region on audible, probably for weird copyright reasons us mortals can’t begin to understand. Thank you!

18:16 Suddenly the world froze. A man's voice came out of nowhere (or had it always been there, unnoticed until that moment in the background?) "Please forgive me, excuse me one second. Looks like people are trying to get in touch with me". A pause. "Now it looks alright". The world continued, as if nothing had happened. Nearly thirty peasants...

Fantastic book but what did the Latin sound like that made the priest hesitate?

Was this entire chapter a dream? Or just after they got drunk in the castle?

I believe the entire castle scene was a dream from the meal to the tourney
