In the early 2000’s she campaigned to have a banner on the screen to notify the audience as to whether singers are singing live in TV performances . She’s a real singer!!

As others have said, totally underrated singer and songwriter, which is criminal really, as she is top notch. I have seen Beverley twice and I am always amazed by her fantastic vocal range, and just how hard she works when’s she’s performing, she gives it her all. Can’t wait to see her again in a couple of weeks.

Why would she need to mime a 3:12 song when she belts out 2 hour shows on the Westend 6-7 times a week? Her voice is truly a gift . I read that they filmed the dance twice, maybe it’s down to poor editing? Either way, LOVE IT Ms. Knight. So great to see her back performing her music again :)

I would say that she stands head and shoulders above anyone of this generation's performers. Beverley has taken Aretha's place as queen of soul. She was just standing in the wings all ready to take over. Wonderful voice, Amazing performer. Good luck to her! She has worked her butt off to get to where she is.

So im here because of folks saying Beverly was lip syncing. This is exaggerated pronouncing that some folks may think she is miming. Beverly is fab live and doesnt need to mime. But god forbid she ever comes down with a sore throat and has to mime folks will focus on that one time…. She is fantastic live as you will see here lol

Came here as soon as I read online, that apparently, she was miming. That is LIVE. I think she has just always been a very underared artist. People need to realise that she has an absolutely incredible voice. Even way back since the Sista Sista days ❤❤❤❤

People are crazy saying that she was miming. This song is a piece of cake for her. She always was a powerhouse but when she trained for theatre, she became a force of nature. She prepared her voice and body to be ready for long hours and weeks for Musicals. She reached another level. I saw her is Memphis and was mesmerised .

Not really, we now sadly live in a time where some people who qualify as a singer would not have even been allowed on a stage in years gone by. Miming, autotune, pitch shifting and kinds of nonsense are now so accepted as a normal part of singing, to the point where many people refuse to believe that someone can actually sing.

So dissapointed St David's Hall Cardiff had RAAC and concert cancelled until 2024. Seen her live twice, Derngate Northampton and Royal Festival Hall London, was so looking forward to the Third time a little closer to home This Lady is incredible.
