Beverly Hills 90210 stars Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestly, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris came together for a panel at Steel City Con to talk about the show, their experiences, and to answer fan questions.
Tori Spelling played Donna Martin on Beverly Hills 90210, and is also known for Scary Movie 2, The House of Yes, Trick, BH90210, Mystery Girls, Smallville, The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, and more.

I LOVED how Shannon defended her character over the Dylan Brenda Kelly triangle. I'm with her. Haven't changed my view that her bff Kelly and the love of Brenda's life hooked up behind her back. Great moment of this reunion.

So, I was at a bar in NJ many years ago and the guy behind me asks if I can move over a bit so he can order a beer, I turn around and look, it was Ian Ziering. I just blurt out "Holy sh*t, its Steve". I did not even say his real name, but his characters name. He laughed and said "What's up".

Shannen was super cool and I loved her humour. Imagine if you were fired from a big job when you were young and many years later being asked to return to talk about it with your former colleagues? Most people in their right mind would not agree to do that but she did it for her fans, carried herself with grace and lots of humour and biting wit. In the spirit of Brenda!

I remember the night the pilot premiered. I was in 10th grade and it was a Saturday night. I had plans to go out but started watching 90210 and ended up staying in. I was hooked. I loved that it was a show about kids that were exactly the same age as me.

Yes 🎉 but Jennie Garth was really upset about Shannen calling her character a wh*re. She went on a rant on he podcast about it. Saying that Kelly wasn't a ho and it makes her not want to do comic cons anymore. They need to remember these are characters they've played. People play horrible humans in movies all the time. You shouldn't take it personal when the character is insulted. However, Shannen called said "you were a wh*re" so maybe that's why she was upset? 🤷‍♀️ I listen to Shannens podcast too and I'm starting to see an arrogance and elitist personality in her.

I’m intrigued & must listen to these podcasts now lol I think there was a reason Shannon was written out of a few shows she was on. It did t just happen for no reason. How far that bad behaviour went is between all those who lived it but it definitely came from somewhere! lol That being said, Kelly (not Jennie) WAS a ho for doing what she did to her best friend. Other than that, her character was good! I absolutely LOVED her & Brandon as a couple! I wish he hadn’t left the show when he did!

@carleenohalloran8975 I heard that as well. I think a lot of Shannens acting out in 90210 was because she was going through a lot of personal issues. Her father was dying, and she was going through a horrible marriage/ divorce, and she was in her early 20s. I heard from Shannen, Holly, and even Rose Mcgown had said Alyssa was problematic on the set of Charmed.

The cutest thing i noticed is that Jason and Shannen played twins and if you notice they are sitting exactly alike. Same leg crossed and same arm resting on the arm of the chair even the way they sit. There also both wearing black jacket.❤

Anyone who gets cancer or has a stroke deserves compassion not condemnation. There but for the grace of God go I.

You're believing in dangerous non truths. Context is key & GOD'S WORD tells us that "you can KNOW them, by their fruits" (based on His description/explanation of good & evil). Obedience versus disobedience is a life changer. I miss Luke Perry he will always Dylan Mckay and I always love his role as Lane Frost. I watched this in real time from age 12 to 22 the final episode aired the night my nephew was born so I extra emotional . I still cry watching it now on streaming

@nicanonymus2491 Shannen was supposedly notorious for getting into it with people and her behavior ended up catching up with her on Charmed. So when you hear people like Garth say "a void was missing", what she means is that "it was so peaceful while you gone". And 90210 wasn't that bad after Shannen left because a lot of people dig 5-10 a lot more and I'm one of them in addition to season one.

I grew up watching this show and am the same age as much of the cast. They remind of my group of friends from school, so the show always meant so much to me. Love them all, and always missing Luke. ❤

I still can't believe Luke is gone. Also, I think Tiffany Amber Thiessen (sp) should have been there. Brian Austin Green is now so hot. I think Ian is much more attractive now than back then. The girls are all wonderful and look great as well. Jason Priestley is my type. What a gorgeous man who makes my heart skip a beat. I still watch reruns all the time. I miss Shannen so much. i still cant believe she's gone. Watching this right now was both comforting and heartbreaking at the same time. On one hand it was really nice to see her again and to see her with the rest of the cast but its heartbreaking to face the reality that she is not physically here anymore and that we wont see her at future conventions and everything. Shannen you are loved and missed and forever will be. I Love you Shannen. R.I.P.

I’m binge watching season seven as well right now I think I’m close to season eight but the thing is did you notice how they keep cutting out episodes and sometimes they cut out like two or three at a time if you look at it you’ll see it skip from like episode 25 to 29 I’m just using that as an example, but they cut out the entire episodes when Luke Perry’s character met his wife, the one that he married, and then died on the same day. A lot of those episodes are missing, and I had to find it somewhere else and another horrible channel that made it completely impossible to watch because of all the ads they kept running, and then it would mess up the entire episode in. It was really hard to follow, but I am watching it on prime right now and if you look at the episodes, you’ll see a lot of episodes cut out if you look at the different seasons I’m not sure why they do this though. It’s very annoying and I would be very mad if I had to pay for those or if I purchased the whole season and all these episodes were cut out right now I get to watch it for free because I’m a prime member.

Best episodes IMO-1. Brenda discovers a lump on her breast (absolutely incredible acting by her here, MVP performance!)…2. Summer jobs for Brandon and Steve @ the cabana (what a brilliant idea by the writers here)…3. Jenny Garth’s battles with her Mom, etc. (powerful drama)…The list is endless and really impressive!

Everybody looked good! It's great to see Shannen back with the whole cast. RIP Luke Perry and Joe E. Tata. A lot of the 90s tv were focused on teens and the stories were relatable for some. It was a great series and everybody played their roles well. Whatever sound in the background maybe the air conditioning or vent made it hard for me to hear what everyone was saying. OH wow so Shannen didn't know her last scene was going to be her last episode. :(. Wow. I love hearing all the cast responses. Some of these fan questions are wild. LOL Ian was so funny here.

I love every single one of them I got too meet Brian he is the sweetest I met him years ago in Baltimore Maryland fan fest got a pic and I kissed him on the cheek he smiled turned red and said you snuck that in and it’s fine. Loving 90210 since it began and till this day love it. May luke rest easy in heaven he was amazing And Shannon I pray for you all the time love you

This just makes me wanna watch 90210 over again for probably the hundredth time reruns when the show came out. I was 20 years old one of my favorite shows and then Melrose came along, and that was my second favorite show but yes watching all of them up there. They all look great Shanon I just can’t believe this was a few months ago. She looks so great all of them do and I cannot believe Ian is 60 years old and looks like he had done his aging gracefully,

I never thought they looked alike back then, but since I thought Brenda favored Jim enough to be his daughter, and Brandon favored Cindy enough to be her son that each had just inherited their looks from the other parent. At least that's my head canon explanation.

Watching Beverly Hills 90210 for the first time at 27 years old (my mom didn't allowed me to watch it when I was a child lol) and i'm LOVING IT!! I'm nostalgic about the 90s even If I didn't know this period... Things seemed to be muuch more fun and simple. I can't count the amount of people who told me I look like Shannen Doherty lol and I'm so happy about that, I adore her, she's the best of the best and I'm so sad she left us.... but her memory and legacy will always be with us ! ♥

Rest in Peace Joe E Tata, he passed away in 2022, who played Nat and also in the spin off. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2018. He was 85 years old. Rest in Peace and Love Shannon and Luke.
