Beverly Goldberg (Wendi McLendon-Covey) is worried that Adam (Sean Giambrone) is heading for heartbreak because his high school girlfriend's parents are divorced. When she can't get through to him on her own, she turns to Principal Ball (guest star Stephen Tobolowsky) and Mr. Woodburn (guest star Dan Bakkedahl) for help. It's almost hard to remember that divorce carried a huge stigma and was thought life-destroying in the 80s, and not to be married in one's thirties similarly at least odd. How much has changed in just 30 or so years. Bev is her usual hysterical, but the character is channeling a bit of reality that was.

That's me! My father was forever an asshole to my mother. But his obnoxious behaviors and wrong-doings taught me what is NOT okay to do in a relationship. I've been in a long-term relationship with my partner for several years now and there's never been a gloomy day!

Not necessarily, my nephew’s mom & Dad divorced when he was somewhat young, (she had him at a previous marriage) he’s 21, engaged to a pretty girl & sweet girl & h e’s going to be a Dad in January.

I wish my parents divorced when i was young instead of staying together and having a hot and cold relationship. Even now as an adult i know they are not happy together and toxic to each other. They are great parents just want them to be happy

Lazy writers in Season Eight. Dave Kim excited to play new Super Mario Bros. 3 Japanese import. In Season Five episode "The Scrunchie Rule", Adam mentioned going to Dave's house to play Mario 3.

@@elmarakovideo also in the most recent episode, Adam tries to buy tickets to Turner and Hooch as if it just came out when in that one episode(I think in season 2) when Barry tries to win Lainey's heart by writing a love rap for her, one of his lyrics was 'she's the Turner to my Hooch', implying that it's already out and he's seen it. The writers probably either forgot about this or hoped we did because it's been a while. But I remembered instantly because one of the most memorable Goldberg conversations from that season for me was when Barry gets mad at Erica when Lainey tells him that she didn't really put in a word for him, the most memorable lines went something like this: Erica: ".....................I didn't expect you to write a love rap about Turner and Hooch. And they're not even a couple, dude! One is a dog!" Barry: "THAT DOG TOOK A BULLET FOR TOM HANKS! THAT'S LOVE!"

@@huntcd2012 yeah but it still would've been funny if instead of the response in the video, Ball gives her an incredulous face and says "You're the one who introduced me to my wife." And if you look at the other comments in the replies, you'll see that this isn't the only continuity error I've seen recently. They've been popping up more often ever since Adam Goldberg stepped down as showrunner.

His new gf is Sadie Stanley most notibly starring in "The Sleepover", Vicky dumped his ass a long time ago. This is so Hollywood, girls like Sadie Stanley or Rowan Blanchard would never go near Adam Goldberg if she wanted the bottom of the barrel. You all know Sean talks like that in real life, it's not a stage accent.
