This made everything so clear... most professors/teachers will teach this over a span of two lectures which causes information to be jumbled up due to the many similarities between them. Having them presented like this is so much more clear and intuitive!

You are a lifesaver . You taught the meiosis, mitosis portion so easily that made me understand all the stages in a simple manner. You covered one of the most confusing part of genetics in a very simply and lucid way to me. Thank you.

I didn’t know what I didn’t know until I watched this video! Thank you so much. When I learned this in class, every diagram showed four tetrads for Meiosis and four sister chromatid pairs for Mitosis and I think that is what my problem was. Thanks again!

There are SO MANY explanations of mitosis and meiosis that do not distinguish between chromosomes and chromatids and just call chromatids chromosomes and it makes absolutely no sense. Using the correct terminology made this simple like it’s supposed to be. Thank you

By far the clearest explanation of mitosis/meiosis I have ever seen! Most books or videos do not explicity state which strands are which (identical, paternal/maternal, copied, etc), leaving one very confused as to what actually transpired. Your explicit description is quite welcome. Thank you!

I am a very visual person. I thought of coming onto youtube to see if there were any videos that would help. Yours was the most attractive and got my attention right away. I have learned so much just on 4 videos. 10 hours of reading and still not understanding condensed into 2 hours of video with a full understanding. This was one of the best explanations I've heard. Sometimes you actually have to go more in-depth rather than simplified to get a working concept of something. The presenter did a good job of being rigorous with his vocabulary. I can't even count how many times I've been confused by people saying "23 pairs of chromosomes". If I understand correctly, humans would have 23 pairs of chromatin, for a total of 23 chromosomes.
