I've been using Wright Stander since 2008. I've put over 5,000 hrs on the same 15hp Kawasaki engine. Even had someone run a red light smash into my trailer. The Wright Stander was ejected out of my trailer landed on the hood of a Toyota Tacoma pickup, slid down the hood landed on its feet... one pull started right back up. I can't say enough about these Wright Standers.

One of my old trucks would only start if I push started it so i never turned it off to get gas. I always just kept it running. If i ever went anywhere, I would leave it running in the parking lot and tuck my phone up under the dashboard. I had tracking stuff on my phone so I could see where it was if someone tried to steal it

John Deere has a 36 “ stand on mower that can do hills but not as well as the sit down mowers . Ya lean into the mower and approach at an angle , it’s an art to do it wo fear even in wet slopes and hills. Ran em commercially on 4 to 6 acre properties here in Texas from San Antonio to all of South Coastal areas . I’m looking to buying my own Wright stand on mower and either a 32” or 36” as I already have an older 50” Bobcat hydro . Do well n get some !

I have the Wright Stander B with a 36” deck. Same Kawasaki engine as yours. Approximately 55 hours and one of the front wheels has seized. I’m going to have to break it apart and replace bearings and bushings. Unacceptable for such low hours. Engine runs great, but I’m not at all happy with Wright. I would never recommend. I have a Bad Boy Rebel with a 72” deck and the Kawasaki 1000cc engine. Zero problems at over 400 hours. I understand your situation with no time for greasing, but I’d rather have zerks I can grease than have to replace parts every 50 hours. Btw, for those that aren’t aware, the Wright was $6700 new a year ago. Also, bearings and bushings are not covered under warranty. Something to think about. If I had to do it over, I’d buy the Bad Boy standup.

BUT NICK!! I used to fill diesel machines running at the golf course I worked at until my mechanic caught me and lit me up with facts, static electricity does exist, if a spark happens you wont remember it. shut your engine off when refueling, also dont use your cellphone while refueling, theres videos on youtube showing what can happen at gas/diesel pumps..... diesel exhaust can be over 1700 F, which can catch most things on fire... safety first ninjas, no different than ppe ;) cheers

I bought a '97 Ford F-350 brand new with a 7.3 liter diesel. When I sold it 5 years later, it had over 700,000 miles on it. Never spent a dollar on the engine except for oil changes, two alternators, and a starter. Never had a problem with the tranny or rear end. The engine was still strong, even though over half of those miles were towing heaving RV's. They just don't make them like that any more.

I refuel my diesel running. My truck my rules. Hard work pays off. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Hard now a days to find honest mechanics who actually know what they are talking about. Your doing the right thing Nick and your customers see it. The appreciation is priceless. Reading through comments every area is different and of course the way we all run our businesses is different. It doesn’t take years to have good equipment or a diesel truck. I from the beginning knew I didn’t want to spend 4k on used mower with no warranty and deal with break downs so I purchased a new mower and did payments for a year, paid it off and got a wright stander x II. Used. 5x10 open trailer for a year than had a 8x16 custom enclosed trailer built. 3 years later and picked up a 16 Sierra 2500hd denali to pull new trailer. As you said Nick hard work pays off and your quality of work is paid in return by loyal customers. I had a few that never paid. Learned my lesson and do the card on file before service or cash in hand. The bread is out their and up for grabs, you just need to be willing to bust your rear end for a slice of it.

I drive a truck for a living been in my family for generations its easier on a diesel to keep it running if your getting fuel or stoppin to do something quick. Big or small diesels rule! I have a 2017 Chevy Colorado 2.8 Duramax diesel 4 cyl. Got a crew cab 6 foot box and it is amazing on fuel. During mowing season I was only filling it every 2 weeks. Cold starting is a thing of the past this truck starts right up in the cold with ceramic plugs. Only thing that sucks is the emssions crap.
@TheCookinHam
@TheCookinHam 5 жыл бұрын
Diesel isn't as flammable as gasoline. HOWEVER your fuel system is pressurized and you could damage it by leaving it running. It can also throw a check engine code for the gas cap being off. Not to mention, that your putting increased wear on your fuel pump because you're introducing air into the system.

@kirilvlastanov444
@kirilvlastanov444 5 жыл бұрын
Brooke Chapman I fell around 100-150 trees per year and sell firewood in the winter. I’ll give you the pros and cons real quick. Pros- 1. you can get around $250-$300/cord 2. Save few bucks from dump fees Cons: 1. It is time consuming cutting and splitting fire wood.You really have to do it in your down time or slow days. 2. You need to buy more equipment such as wood splitter, saw,bigger truck to handle the weight, dump truck or dump trailer. 3. Fire wood does take space, so you are going to need the storage for it.

I dont think u can call it ford tough when the 7.3 was made by international not ford and apparently it puked 3 ford tough transmissions out of it ..calm down just jokein...lol...none of the big three made there own diesels untill recently...ford was international..then navistar for the 6.0 i belive those companys merged between the 7.3 and the 6.0 and im not sure who they useing now.think its 6.7 is ford built now...dodge is cummins....and chevy is isuzu. Yes the duramax is made in japan. By isuzu. Just sayin ..either way keep pushin the dream..
