In this video I show you guys how to spot fake Roblox profiles. There are a lot of dodgy Roblox accounts sending people messages around this time of year so make sure to be careful, and if you encounter one of these accounts simply, block/report them to Roblox.

What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

I feel like a way to 100% help stop this issue, by only allowing accounts older than 1 year have the ability to message people, therefore scammers will have to wait a pretty long time, and by the time they start doing it, roblox will ban their fake accounts and they’ll have to wait a whole year, and maybe they’ll then realize that doing what they’re doing is a big waste of time, now if they make a new account every day, then yea it may be a problem but it’s just a single account that roblox can ban with a push of a button, so I think having the ability to message should be allowed to accounts over a year old, so scams will be a lot less frequent and common

I think this would get in the way of normal players and not scammers or exploiters sure it could slow them down but what abouts the newer players or people who have played for awhile but not a year or so?

Remember that roblox always gives you a warning: no admin would message you for account info

Smart man This is true, you NEVER get a message, you just get this screen when you log in that says “banned for 3 days” or “warning” and the reason why. Usually discriminative decals, or bypassing chat messages.

There is also the method where they message you about cashing out your limiteds. I usually get messages from scammers (from stolen accounts) every week with a new video and a new website, so maybe Roblox has to start doing something but what doesn't gain/reduce profit doesn't need to be solved at least from an economical perspective. However, most Roblox users that are insecure probably don't have much value which makes them less likely to be a victim to such scams but still a great video!

Even though i know these scams i really like how he informs everyone about this trying to prevent less hacks. I had one time when i just got randomly dmed in discord and had the same message and the fake youtube tutorial. BE careful everyone and thank you sharkblox for making this video

Let me explain how she got the limited: A common method used by these scammers is transferring expensive limiteds to alts. They do this, equip it on the alt the trade it back. As long as the alt had it equipped while they traded it, they will keep the item in their avatar

Ive been suspicious about people, they send a friend request to you and they say accept it, no matter how rich you are. Please don't accept suspicious people They would act like a friend, and then send you links you probably don't know about, probably when you both reach discord

theres also a scam like this for steam accounts people dm you saying they "falsely reported" your steam account and need you to verify ur ownership the key thing to knowing these scams is discord. roblox or steam would never ask you to talk on third party softwares such as discord. hopefully this helped
