I just went over my business plans and breeding projects I want to get into and shes given me the green light to start working on it. I have a male Banana and a Female Queen bee. She wont be ready to go for a couple years if i stick with your advice. So i'm looking for a couple sub adult females for my banana so i'm ready to breed by next October. It would be awesome to have a snake or 10 from you if at all possible. LEt me know if you may have something for me. Im only 10 hours from Denver and willing to make the trip. I may be at the reptile show coming up but thats a big maybe. I may possible go bankrupt if I went to that show. If you want to take this beyond comments let me know ill post my email again lol. BTW, i'm a graphic designer as well and i work for snakes lol.

I use heat strips under my displays and hook it up to a heat controller set to 90F.

I put small snakes in deli cups with lids and holes, designed for selling reptiles. I put the bigger snakes in a snake bag.

I've only sold a few, I won't have any adults at this show. Most of the times you can find normals or single gene adults at almost every show.

Probably ends up costing more than its worth because you can fit 4-6 smaller snakes in the same space it takes for 1 adult, lol.

That's pretty awesome, thanks for the link! I'll give a little input, not sure I like the blue tint on the lights, the lights that I have actually have a few different colors to choose from. I like the pure bright white the best. Also, if you get in a dark room you really need to bring those lights out to the center of the display cases, seems like they are back a bit too far, the front row won't really get the right amount of light, at least that's what I found with my displays. Not sure I like the built in thermostat, if it fails it won't be easy to fix, wonder what kind of options it has, pulse / on off / dimming heat? Not sure I would have built that into the setup. Also seems to run on batteries, I bet that adds to the weight and how easy is it to replace batteries and how much would that cost? Seems like a plug in setup would be better. Great idea though, I'm sure they will improve as they come out with newer versions!

@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures Hey Chris! No problem. They are plug powered, not battery. You buy one "master" unit that has the built in thermostat and the other units are "slaves" that plug into the master. The master has three extra plugs (linked to thermostat) and a couple usb inputs for phone charging etc. The thermostat is an industry standard proportional herpstat which regulates voltage to maintain a consistent temperature, it doesn't pulse or on/off. I've had plenty of ranco on/off thermostat die in the 16 years I've been keeping but never a proportional but it could happen. I think you can easily replace it with another herpstat in that unlikely event. I am pretty sure the lights telescope out to the middle but not certain, I haven't seen them in person yet. I'm not sure of exact weights but I bet they are significantly lighter than the ARS offering due to the all plastic construction. The fixed color temperature on the light is a good point, I too would prefer the most neutral light possible (not blue, not yellow). Here's a recent video just put out where someone did an unboxing and compared them directly to the ARS racks if you're interested. Keep up the great work man, loving your channel and content. Regarding weight, I just watched the video where they were directly compared to the ARS racks and he says that the next level displays are "definitely heavier". Score one for ARS, but you still have to carry lights and there's no heat, that stuff inevitably has weight as well. I personally really like the idea of having heat and being able to keep the snakes warm while traveling (power inverter from car for power) and while at the show. Warmer snakes are brighter and happier :).
