There’s also a scam the person wants u to trust them with their pets and they say “be right back” and I think they will see what pets you’ll pull out and come back again and tell them to trust trade when u don’t trust them and you had a leg pet one by one and scammer gives it back but when she/him asks for all of the legs u showed her/him you will basically accept cause you think she was a trusted person but no you get scammed

to avoid scam number 1:when they offer the pet,you scroll on their name you will be aboe to see it might be newborn!hope this helps

I mean the best way to avoid scams is to pay attention, always thoroughly check the pet in trade window, if something seems "too good to be true" then it usually is. And for the second scam why would anyone ever fall for that? Thats a dumb one to fall for lol..unless they are a super new or very young player. just use your 🧠 😊 Perfect driving skills, btw ❤😅

The best way to avoid the scams (idk how to avoid the first one sadly even by seeing how its done it confuses me but I'll try) No 1: scroll as much as you can if its possible No 2: does it have brackets in the name and you can also check the name in the trade to help No 3: give them a worthless common first and say nope and they ask for legendary decline it but if they ask for bucks give them 1 and if they ask for more give them 1 and if they ask for more leave :3 No 4: to troll them click decline spam decline on the last one or after you did three if you have 0 just decline if you have 1 click wear first then decline the trade

Hello, y'all! I am not sure wether this scam was documented or not but I haven't seen it yet. This happened to me a few hours ago when I was casually playing adopt me. (Skip to last paragraph if you want to hear just the conclusion of the scam. I do a lot of yapping here ) I saw someone in chat saying something along these words "Abc if you have a trusted friend in this server" I decided to see what's going so I said abc. The guy was holding a neon kangaroo (a pet, scammers often try to lure you with). He told me to call/message/whatever my friend I know I can trust and because I was curious to see what was going on I called my online best friend who I'll call by the name Abyssal. Abyssal joined almost immedeately and teleported to me. The person said something slong the lines of "My and my 'brother' are arguing about how much people trust eacheother. I need you (aka me) to trade your friend your best pet and make them trade it back to you." And of course the idiot that I am already had a neon gargoyle with the friendship level 32 out and therfore I would get away with saying "Oh a dragonfly is the best I've got" And because of how naïve I am, I settled on to try it with my actual best bet - A nfr Lavender dragon. Before we traded, abyssal ( we have been calling with eachother since this began) told me she would screenshare her side to me so we can make sure everything is going smoothly. This turned out to be pretty much essencial. So the guy tells us to start. I trade Abyssal with my Lavender dragon and we both hit accept twice. Then a trade request on abyssal's screen pops up. This one was NOT sent by me, but instead by an account that had almost identical username to mine, with one letter changed. Fortunately we both notice it and Abyssal declines and trades the actual me back the lavender dragon. The other person says something about forgeting to record for proof, though I think we both already figured out that was bullshit. I tell Abyssal to turn of trade requests and only allow friends to trade her and we begin when the guy tells us. I trade Abyssal and hand her the lavender dragon and after the trade is over the guy disappears after around 10 seconds. Abyssal hands the lavender dragon back to me and everything is luckly over and with a good ending. TL;DR: A person will tell you to call your friend and tells you to trade them your best pet and when they give it back to you you will get a prize (in this case a neon kangaroo) if you do actually have a friend that won't scam you, after you give them the pet, they will be traded by a person with an almost identical username to yours in order to trick them. I don't recommend engaging with the scammer by any means, the only reason I did so, was because I wanted to prevent others from potentionally getting scammed. If you insist on participating in this DO NOT get your friend but your alt account and set both accounts to be able to be traded only by friends. Yet again, I highly reccomend staying away from them and warning the server about the way this scam works.

How to avoid the full grown scam: If it says “Aged Full Grown” or “Age Full Grown” it’s fake. If it has a : then it’s real. “Age: Full Grown” You cant out a : in the name of your pet thats why. (Also im not sure if it’s Full or Fully but that does not really matter.) Be careful!

Guys there is a new scam going on! So basically a person will have a really good pet(like frost Dragon,shadow Dragon, etc)then they will have an alt account having out a really really bad pet(like dog, cat, armadillo,etc)they the main account will say "trading frost Dragon for dog,It's my dp!" But some people like me fell for it and traded our best pets and the main account left.... (let's make people aware of this scam:) )

Here is a little example of my version!: So I was in a rich server and I said "ABC TO HELP ME MAKE A VIDEO FOR MY CHANNEL", a girl with a fr Kangaroo came and said ABC. I explained that she should add me so we can join my private server and that the video will be about Pick a Door. Well she added me and everything went just like I wanted. She was always looking scared that she'll get scammed though, you could realize from the questions she asked and way she talked. Well here is a dialogue of me and her while making the video. Me(1) Her(2) 1: ABC TO PLAY PICK A DOOR 2:ABC! 1: Okay, I'll invite me to my family 2: ok! 1: Alright, done. Teleport:D 2: alr! (We went to my Tiny house which I already had prepared for Pick a door) 1: So.. to play you must give me your best pet, what's your best pet? 2: A FR Kangaroo I guess.. 1: Good give it to me! 2: Umm. (She started trying to stop me from making the video as she fell uncomfortable but she then agreed to do it) 2: Ok here... 1: Thanks! Now Pick a door:> 2: The pink one!! 1: You got a legendary! 2: OMG YAY 1: Trade me to see what you got! (I gave her her FR Kangaroo and an ancient dragon) 1: There you go
