The couple are to be praised for their daring and honest narration of a franchisee's story. I have gone through similar experience as a famous sandwich franchise. There has to be some kind of protection for Franchisee's.

Bless this couple for speaking the truth about ME. I had a similar experience with a different franchise (bullying, misrepresentation, changes to software, product lines, etc and more). While I’d love to be as transparent with my experience as these folks, because a lawsuit was threatened by the franchisor and then later dropped, I’d be concerned that they’d come at me again. Great interview about the reality of partnering with a less than ethical franchise brand.

It's sobering to hear the horror stories. It's learning that sticks. It's hard to forget what is said. The franchisor could be a predator and milking everyone they deal with. Scary situations.

The franchisor is a predator who gobbles up a franchisee who is a predator who gobbles up the majority of the profits of the hard working massage therapist. You got what you deserved.

I owned a Dickeys’s and the corporation made us by everything through their supplier. We paid double per pound for our meats and Dickeys got a kick back from it.
