The Batman Thing is - if you had only ever seen her in Bewitched, then watched her in something else, you would have expected her to magic her way out of any sticky situation the role she played would force her into! I believe that it was in black and white to begin with - now - if only they could colourise all black and white films and TV without making it look wishy-washy or like everyone is a Native American!

@@krknfmkr8919 Yeah, I have seen both and think they are both great, I love the "Awakening Land" Two others I really like are her in "Johnny Staccato" Episode 10 called "Tempted" and of course "The Untouchables" The Rusty Heller story & "The Twilight Zone", "Two". How cute is it that at 3:25 Samantha starts to smile at the antics of the props crew, then looks at someone behind the camera and smiles. This Darren is so ,so, so, much better than his replacement. Such a sad ending to both their lives.

I like the nose wiggle, it made Samantha ever more adorable. The character had away about her, sassy but not a smart ass. A good woman, secure in who she was and wanted to be.

Elizabeth Montgomery was a beautiful person inside and out. Watching the episodes of Bewitched; takes away some of the sad in this world today. And watching them, for the 25 minutes, it’s the 1960’s again and gives me a feeling of inner peace. Rest in Peace Lizzie; you are one of the best.

I've watch the show when I was little ... still enjoy it . Yes , Elizabeth Mongomery was the most gorgeous nose twisting witch and the best . I even love as Serena - quite funny . As a young man, I was in love with both Samantha and Jeannie of I Dream of Jeannie. These shows debuted at nearly the same time, in 1964 and 1965 respectively. Of course, Samantha was the mature one, the one that you would like to bring home to meet your parents. Jeannie might be more fun to be with, but a lot less dependable.

Yeah, I never understood why Darrin never wanted Samantha to use her magic. It made no logical sense to me even as a little girl watching the show. All the good she could have done not only for him but for every body. Same sentiment for I dream of Genie. Never cared for either show.

Mary Tyler Moore in her younger days (Dick Van Dyke show), Tippi Hedren, Janet Lee, Marilyn Monroe---all were more beautiful than E.M. Watch her in the shows she did in her very early days of acting, when the makeup was far more subtle than on Bewitched; she looks almost plain, someone nobody really paid attention to. It was the heavy makeup and the scripting that made the difference.....

Elizabeth Montgomery was stunning in the first episodes (not that she wasn't pretty all through the series) There was just something special about her looks in the beginning. I just found Bewitched in syndication a few weeks ago. The first couple seasons were in black and white. Although this may not be the actual true color of her robe (could be) I wondered what it would be and look like in color. It is marvelous!!

Elizabeth Montgomery was absolutely gorgeous, inside and out ! Loved this show. Dick York was great guy. One of my favorite characters was Uncle Arthur. Agnes Moorhead was gorgeous also, she was a mother in law I would have loved !!

I never, ever, understood Darren NOT wanting to come onboard to Sam's powers. RIP Elizabeth, Dick York, Dick Sargent. xx

Part of this was of course the comedy aspect. Darren did not understand Samantha's powers so he didn't like her to use them. In the 1960s, he also would not have wanted to be less powerful than his wife - who wears the pants in the family and all. In real life this might have been far different as there were many good sides to Samantha's abilities. However, should she get angry with him she might be dangerous too, so there's that.

I don’t care what anyone says … Daren ( York ) was very handsome and had such style . He had good comic timing , pretty face and charming . The other dude was just mean and always grumpy .

I used to watch " bewitched" & " i dream of Jeanie " - all the time Great TV - leading ladies absolutely beautiful in every aspect loved darrin and harry also - super TV , they literally don't make TV like that anymore

Grew up watching the reruns, everyday after school, Gilligan’s Island and Bewitched. Then the Beverly Hillbillies with my folks after the local news. They were 20 years old back then, but still great, and they still hold up.

Never saw that episode damn....... but in every single one i used to watch, the only i was staring at......was Elizabeth and her only!!! I was and still am in love with this woman.. her face, her style, her look, absolutely stunning woman.

I was sadden when she died, especially when she was only 62 at the time of her death.
