I love that Odin passage. He doesn't learn the Futhark. He takes up the runes. Which means something like whispers or secrets. Secrets which he then carves into wood to create the Futhark. A mysterious passage.

Just found your play list. I have been mixing Reiki with Rune casting on my Tiktok with very interesting results. Instead of casting I’m using the energy field to pull the correct runes. Anyway, thanks for the play list.

Another thing I read about that I want to try is doing “rune yoga,” where you shape your body into various runes instead of the traditional positions/stretches. I.e., placing your left foot against the side of your right knee to form wunjo, the rune for “joy.” It sounds so wonderful!

❤ i just bought 2 buffalo bone rune sets off Etsy for about $12 each! During the time it was shipping to my house, i made a magickal potion with olive oil, and cedar / sage / mugwort / rose / catnip / cannabis, and heat it slowly for 3 days. I then recieved my new rune sets right on beltane! I then anointed both sets with the potion, amd burned a yellow candel, then did my 1st reading. Pretty amazing rune sets! ❤

Thank you so much for making this series. I look forward to reviewing it. I made my set of Runes a couple of years ago. Initially I carried them in my pocket every day so that I could bond with them. Now they reside in my briefcase. I remember the day when I actually became bonded to them. I was at work and it came to me that one of my Runes was missing. So to be sure, I counted them. My heart sank, because one was missing, then suddenly as if someone was pulling me I walked to a spot that I had been standing before and there it was on the floor. So relieved I picked it up. It was the Perdhro rune. So when I looked up the meaning I got instant goosebumps! The cup of Perdhro represents fertility, mystery and “ALL THINGS HIDDEN” These words jumped out at me. I knew then that I was truly bonded with these runes. But unfortunately I still don’t know much about how to use them, so this series will be extremely useful for me. Thanks so much!🙏🏻

I appreciate this playlist. I'm an occult author but have never really been interested in rune's. An elder of mine sent me some though, and now I am seeing why. I am learning tons and am seeing how they perfectly align with my teaching.

I am making runes out of blank antler slices (sheds found a few hours from my house) that I will carve with a knife and darken the rune with India Ink. My first set of runes I made from flat stones I found at the beach and painted on. I didn’t know you had a rune playlist…. 💜

I had an old set of Runes from my aunt but wanted my own. I had many small trees on the farm ,that I had planted myself so cut I some branches that were thick enough to make my runes the perfect size. I let them dry outside all Sumer on winter solstice ,my birthday I carved all the rune letters on to each rune. I got blood on most of them as my carving the letters did not go unscathed,well all be told, they are very personal to me because like my children ,they came about after much planning, blood, sweat, tears and most of all. Love, I learned to read the Runes when I was 15 from my aunt who learned from my grandmother. She had her bag of runes on her person at all times, I never saw her put them away. I remember watching her as a child waiting for her to leave them some where so I could rub my hands all over them 😂lol my love for the runes gos back more than 50 years.My husband had our wedding rings made in Iceland with both our names in Runes wrapped around the outside. They are still beautiful all these years later .I read runes but I don’t consider myself a witch ,as many seers call themselves, just someone who pays my respects to my old Norse ancestors who have gone before me & have now passed the tradition on to my nieces, one of my sons has asked me to teach my grand daughter as he feels its important to maintain our heritage. I told him I will but she is too young & she has to ask me. Blessed be. I will watch many more of your fine videos,Blessed be.

I know nothing about Witches or Magic and am deeply "not beliver" (sorry, I'm french and don't know how to say in english that I don't have any gods or spiritual beliefs), and at the beginning I came here just to know a bit more about Runes, their signification and the mythology around them, but I'm really thankfull I dicovered you, because the way you talk about your belief (witchcraft if I'm not wrong) is really beautiful. You take the time to make clear that we have to make the "practices" our own and not force us to do anything (you said repeatedly "you don't have to if you don't want to"), watching your video was kinda soothing (calming ? it makes me feel great and just "relaxed") for me, and even thought I won't change my believes for now, I'm fascinated. Would it be direspectful for you and your peers if I tried creating a few runes or a full set and uses them, as a sort of game to question myself about my inner self and open new perspectives, but without believing in the power of the runes themselves or in Odin ? Thanks so much for spreading your knowledge and believes on Internet, and giving me the opportunity to enter you world, enjoy your journey !

I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos! Yes, you can absolutely make a set of runes for yourself. A lot of people who aren't Pagan or witches use Runes (and other divination techniques) for personal insight. You are more than welcome to use whatever you like and whatever fits your beliefs :) I personally would not find that disrespectful at all, and I appreciate anyone taking an interest to explore different beliefs and faiths even if they don't follow the same path.

I’m a Norse Heathen, so runes are kinda my thing, I mean my username is literally spelled with runes lol. I laughed a bit when you mentioned sticking an incense stick into your pouch of runes and getting some of the smoke in there to cleanse them, because that’s exactly what I do between readings. Lol. It is Celtic: From ScaraBrae so it is Scottish in Origen and only once developed there did it spread to Europe. It was invented by three people. A young lady and her two sons. They are the first evidence of an alphabet that underpinned the first human communications. You can see the comparison between runes and the alphabet as it was practically used in both conversationband in writing of print making where it was slowly made more practical and less magical. Each rune was originally made from twigs that the three would touch and put together in shapes that made sense or some sense in the sounds the three of them used to communicate.

I mean, I see Jera written like number 2, another is like number 2 in mirror, I’m sorry English is not my mother language, still hope you get what I mean. Ingwaz I saw 2 ways of writing as well, one is like a square, another is like 2 Gebo adding to the top and bottom of it. So which one is correct? It really puzzled me for a while.

I suppose, depending on the rune, they could be used in spell work that way. If they turn up merkstave in a reading, it doesn't always mean the exact opposite of the rune meaning, could just be that it needs to be looked at from a different perspective. But yes, I haven't done it myself, but I suppose if you wanted to curse someone for financial ruin, for example, a merkstave Fehu worked into the spell would assist.
