to think, she's been in the industry 25 years, but she's been working towards this since 1988 - 35 years, since she was 7. through pageants and talent contests, through forming a group, to becoming lead singer, through losing on Star Search, through getting signed and dropped, through getting signed again, through the first hit single to a hit second album, through the group breaking up and recalibrating, through going solo, through establishing herself, building this musical and artistic legacy. I bet all that was running through her head when she won. no wonder she was emotional.

Artists who are talented usually write their own music and come up with album themes themselves, along with the fashion element to attach to it. None of which Beyonce does, she pays people to write the songs and rips other artists off when it comes to fashion and imagery.
@jellytwins1018
@jellytwins1018 Жыл бұрын
@D. Courteau agreed. She's a talented performer and vocalist, and there's no doubt about that, but people praise her too much. They can't even come up with any original beats. They always just use samples with the excuse that "it's part of the culture." Also, let's be honest, regardless of all of this, her last album wasn't even good. She hasn't had anything good since Lemonade.

I don’t admit the Grammy’s gets it right very often, but they did this time. Beyoncé is well deserved of this award and all the one’s previous. Beyoncé is one of the most iconic artists of all time, and over the past few years she has really developed a sound all her own. Great job! 👏 👏 👏 … now, let’s start recognizing other genres and artists that aren’t mainstream (asides from the one or two they pick each year simply so they seem inclusive). I think Tobe Nwigwe should’ve won a Grammy, along with the bands: Polyphia and Animals as Leaders.

That's how phony they were back then. They hated the thought of MJ dominating the Grammy's after Thriller. It was RACIST. Feels so good to be a Beyoncé fan. Beyoncé deserved that award. She is so talented and hardworking. 🙌🏿

Beyonce is a once in a life time artist I haven't seen an artist this impactful and influential and checks every box like Prince and MJ, and if she keeps the way she is moving her legacy might be one of the greatest ever seen.

The same way some people see a gold and white dress while some people saw a blue and black one (if you remember that moment in internet history) I think most of her best vocal work is on her albums but not on the radio- so the majority of people don't hear them

@Jamera Definitely a one off since she typically lip syncs. She’s no Adele!
